Rated 1 out of 5áby disappointed runner Seriously overrated
This "shoe"/ running sleeve offers little to no support after 2 miles. I have bought plenty of Salo hikers in the past and been satisfied with all of them so I thought I'd try a pair of their runners. This pair will be my last b/c for the money, Brooks blows this shoe away and I would still have some change left over.
After dropping the money on these I felt obligated to stick with them. Unfortunately my feet hurt like heck throughout my run and into the next day when I use them. Now they sit in the garage collecting dust. Major disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Chris102 Awesome Shoe!
This may be the best hiker I've ever put on my foot. I recently returned from a week-long experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains and West Virginia's New River Gorge. From the moment I put this shoe on it felt comfortable, and after a week of hiking up and down mountains and negotiating obstacle courses 40 feet in the air I am convinced I will be purchasing another pair of Salomons when these have become too worn. The Quickfit lacing system is icing on the cake because these feel so I good I wouldn't mind having to lace them up.

The shoe fits very well and is extremely supportive. I don't run but I walk and am on my feet a good amount of the day, the shoe is a great performer.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Average Joe Manufacturing flaw
I usually run between 10-21 miles during the week, not counting walking and hiking. My friend has a pair and really got his money worth out of them. I was curious so I got a pair, the only pair of 11.5 in the store. I noticed the insole was crooked in the left shoe and bought them anyways. After running six miles in the morning and walking around all day at work I returned home excited to go on a walk and break in my new shoes. The right shoe fit perfectly but the left shoe had a manufacturing flaw I didn't discover when I purchased them. The left shoe had an extremely high arch that was visible in a side to side comparison, bad enough that it caused the insole to appear twisted. This was obviously one that slipped through quality assurance. I returned them without a problem and I ordered another pair to see how they will take abuse.
