Great Shin Guards for that awkward size from youth to adult!
I chose these for my 9 year old son who is about 4'10 but with very long legs - especially the foot to knee length.
We tried other adult sizes in different brands, but these were the best width and length and they are a size Medium!
Very reasonable priced as well.
We're happy. :)

Protects really good, holds really good, the Velcro gets caught on the socks, while putting it on!
It is a great shinguard for people that wants lots of protection! it protects the shin and the little bones up from the heel. it has bands to hold well, but when you put your sock on, the Velcro gets caught on the socks.

Shin-ler's List
When I first laid eyes on these futuristic shin guards, I thought for sure the size and bulk would be a hinderance to the game...but I was wrong. The Shinguards actually fit quite nicely, Cover a large territory, and allow for full range of motion. The only con, I have found is that the straps are a tad bit short. I stretch mine to the max when I where them because I have big calves and it leaves huge indents in my leg. Nonetheless, I would recommend these to anyone for the price that they are sold for. Such quality cannot usually be found at such a low price.

Distraction
The shinguard distracted my son. The top of them hurt his shins during the game. He kept adjusting and messing with it and took mind off the game. Now I have to throw those away and buy new ones.

I would buy this product again
It was difficult for my son to remove the ankle protectors with the shin guards attached. I separated the ankle protectors from the shim guards and added velcro to both. They work perfect! Please consider stocking ankle protectors and shin guards that are separate for the larger sizes. You do stock them in small sizes.
