big girls, the chair for you I am plus size and I relied on the previous reviews on this chair. I had the chance to use it twice today for about 2 hours total and it was overall really good. The edge of the seat does hurt my legs after a little bit but I think if I had a foot rest or a cooler to put my feet on, i'd be good to go! May 17, 2013

Just as advertised I'm a plus-sized woman, so when searching for one of these camping chairs, I was very focused on one that could handle my weight and felt sturdy...which is why I ordered it online (the ones in the stores only go to about 240 lbs). This chair does the job. I am always scared to sit in these types of chairs, for fear of falling, but this one is very sturdy. I felt confident when getting up that it wasn't going to fall apart...so I definitely recommend it if you are up to 300 lbs...not sure what it would do beyond that weight, but the steel tubing feels strong. Now, regarding the tubes...after a while, I found myself shifting my legs, because the tubing underneath started bothering me. So be aware that you'll feel the tubes underneath you and you will need to shift around, if you're planning on using this chair for an event requiring extended sitting. The carrying bag makes it very convenient to carry and store and of course, the chair is slightly heavier than the regular ones, because of the reinforced tubing...but it is very manageable for most to carry, I think. I recommend this chair and Dicks delivered it very quickly, which I was very happy about, because I was able to use it sooner than I thought. I am very happy with this purchase... April 26, 2013
Painful! these chairs are awful. I stepped up and paid 3-4 times as much for chairs as I would normally pay, only to be very disappointed. Yes, they are oversized, but for a normal sized person, my feet did not even reach the ground. I am taking them all back today. I will stick with the chairs that are $6 dollars...they are much more comfortable! April 23, 2013

Great Purchase This chair is a good value. Got it for my husband for Christmas and I wanted to wait until we used it a couple of times before I reviewed it. The chair is great. Is holding up well so far. The only thing that bugs me is that the large cup holder is too deep. You can lose your drink down in it. I am planning on putting a wash cloth in the bottom and hopefully that will solve the problem. Other than that the chair is perfect! March 21, 2013
