Better than the R1, for me
I bought the Taylormade R1, thinking its adjustability would make it fit my needs as I've grown older and less flexible. I had a fitting with a Taylormade rep and found it to be just as it was before when tried to adjust it myself -- difficult to hit well and generally useless and frustrating. I bought this driver because I already have the matching woods in my bag, and I like them very much. I am very pleased with the driver. It is easy to handle, has a big sweet spot, sounds great, and produces much better drives for me. My driver prior to the R1 was the Callaway RazorFit. This club is much more responsive and easier to use for me than that one as well.

Not for me
Took it to the driving range and hit 2 balls and the finish on the top of the club started chipping away. I'm trading it in for a Cobra ZL Encore.

Should be quite true
Unfortunately we still have winter here (snow on the ground) so I have not had a chance to use the club on a course yet. It worked well at the simulater

I'm a believer!
Wow! I just visited my local Dick's Sporting Goods store on my lunch break and I was blown away by the Callaway Razr X Black! I have not purchased the driver yet, but I will be back to purchase it ASAP. I have always been a TaylorMade guy and that is all I have in my bag. I will no longer be playing a TaylorMade driver though. After testing the Callaway and TaylorMade drivers in the simulator, I was consistently hitting the Callaway 10 yards farther! I was getting a total drive of about 295yds.! It has a great sound and a large sweet spot. Even on off-center hits the ball was still going straight. I will provide a follow up review after playing a few rounds. Go buy this driver!

Great club
Improved my distance and puts me straight down the fairway. Great club at a great price.

Me and this club are going to be together for a long time.
Got the club on sale. For once being frugal paid off. I played a older course this week. The fairways were long. And the wind was really blowing. I have the 9.5. And all I can say is. Its not a real high hitting club which was really good because of the wind. But the flight of the ball stayed true and the distance I was very happy with. I was really happy with the looks of the club to. Its black pearl with a couple of red lines on it to help you line up your shot. Its a good looking club that will be in my bag a long time.

Great Callaway RAZR X Black Driver
I am very happy with the quality and price of the Callaway RAZR X Black Driver. And I probably added 20 yards and am much more consistent with my drives.

Quality and value
I am a beginner at golf and I wanted a new driver. I tried some out at dicks and went with this. I could not be happier with my choice. It is a great driver that immediately improved my game.

I really liked the look of this product.
I've only been able to use the product twice since it's been purchased (Colorado weather). Was playing in a 4some and another golfer had just purchased his club off the internet. The golf ball jumps of the club face very nice. Added about 10+ yards to my drives (when I hit it correctly). The club is black which also had a decision on my purchase of it.

Smash-it
This is at least the 20th driver I have owned over the years and most of them were at least twice this cost. This one was purchased for me by my wife for a gift. I was very skeptical but not wanting to be unappreciative, I took it with me the next time I played at my club. I took my old driver with me as well just in case. I hit this driver to places I have never hit to before. At least 15 yards farther than any other driver I have played with and it isn?t even warm weather yet. I bet I gained 20 yards. No kidding, I smash this thing. I have a 9.5 loft and hit it higher than any 10 or 10.5 loft driver I have ever owned. If you want to hit last from the fairway and first off the tee, this is it. To find a flaw, I would say it is difficult to draw the ball. Undoubtedly a result from the higher trajectory. High draws are tough to hit. So now I hit a high ?butter? fade farther than my old driver with a draw PERFECT!
