this set of irons give a lot of loft with soft landing on greens sem to have lost some distance but they do land softly on greens only been out once with these clubs, will need to work with them a little on feel. March 5, 2013
Very forgiving and the uniflex shaft provides a little softer tipflex instead of the surfboards I've been swinging. Same as above. Official rate Low 4 to low 5. Im Satisfied , but not totally. Must give clubs a chance. Person who sold clubs to me knows my swing and knows his business very well, this is not the first time I've worked with him. February 26, 2013
This product is a good replacement to Big Bertha Irons I am 50 and have been playing steel shaft Big Bertha irons for years. I was looking for a replacement iron and I think these irons are the perfect replacement for the Big Bertha. My first time out with them I found the irons to be extremly forgiving. great all around clubs I'm 14 and have been golfing avidly for about 3 years. I shoot in the 95-105 range and was looking for an upgrade from my big bertha's(grafite shaft). It took awhile to get used to steel shafts but after a few trips to the range I was impressed. My old irons went higher but what these clubs lacked in height they made up for with penitrating ball flight and exellent control. I'm looking forward to having these clubs for a long time and would absolutely recommend them. December 28, 2012
Delivers as advertised. I'm 67 and a lifetime golfer, having used Callaway Big Bertha graphite irons for last 12-15 years. Switched to RAZR xhl's with steel shafts after testing on machine at Dick's. First round used, shot one under 71 (lowest score ever on course played - usually mid/high 70's to low 80's)). Hit every green except three (but was on the apron). As advertised, they are solid and about 10-15 yards longer on average with higher trajectory for softer landings on greens (which was my goal in switching). At first I was a bit hesitant about buying because they do have a heavier feel than my previous Callaway irons, but found that it made me swing a bit more deliberately and reduces the temptation to swing too agressively and lose control. Very Happy! Purchased with trade in clubs, they were on sale at the time. got great irons, just what i wanted and paid a little more than 1/2 the original price! still getting used to them, but I am very pleased with my progress at this stage! I'm a new player and the staff was extrmrly helpful in helping pick a quality product that i could advance with without the need to repurchase new irons a couple years down the road. March 11, 2012
