Great Buy!!!!! After looking around for a new set of clubs to replace the starter set I was gifted 5-6 years ago I settled on these gems. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. They feel great and hit well right out of the box. May regrip but that's just personal preference. And you can't beat the sleek black look of the club heads. Also, ordered online because they weren't in my local store and they were there is 2 days with ground shipping! No complaints here...just new clubs and 30-50 yards further with my irons! May 14, 2013
Awesome set of Irons!!!! I've always been a fan of Callaway golf clubs and these irons are excellent. Very forgiving. Excellent for beginners or amateurs. I've been golfing for almost 21 years and these clubs make one heck of a difference compared to my old set of Nike irons. I will forever be a fan of Callaway! Long, Forgiving, Accurate, Consistent PERFORMANCE: Point and shoot. Not a lot of distance lost on mishits. Lacks some playability but that is due to their consistent ball flight and forgiveness. Easy to get up in the air, but harder to flight down and play knockdowns than some clubs which limits your shot making. However, these clubs are so straight that you don't have to do much (no need to overplay shots, just go for the green and keep it simple). LOOKS AND APPEAL: This is an advanced game improvement iron. Smaller club face (length) that is enhanced by the longer hozel. The irons are offset which may add confidence for those that are fighting a fade. The black finish holds up well but will fade with use (that is to be expected). The iron does appeal to the mid-low handicap golfer that wants some aspects of a better players club but the forgiveness of a game improvement iron (without looking too bulky and big). FEEL: Clubs feel great and make you feel like you put a charge into the ball. Overall feel is slightly muted or dampened making it hard to know exactly where you hit the ball on the club face. Club head is a little on the heavy side and the sole is mid-bulky. OVERALL: Great sticks (for 5-20 hcp). Great for the mid-low handicapper that is looking for non-forged "player type" irons. Will help get the mid-low golfer from 82 down to 78. Great for higher handicappers due to its forgiveness. These clubs are long (stronger lofts), Forgiving, Accurate, and Consistent. Best Irons I Have Ever Owned! Great irons! They have a great feel, hit very straight, and great distance. I was skeptical at first about getting callaway irons, as i am a very big fan of taylormade, but glad i chose these. Only con is they show dirt and ball marks easily. But overall, great clubs. BEST GAME IMPROVEMENT IRON OUT RIGHT NOW! I JUST PURCHASED THESE AFTER DEMOING SEVERAL DIFFERENT CLUBS. THEY HAD A GREAT FEEL AND A GOOD SOUND AT IMPACT. NOT SURE IF THEY WOULD BE GREAT FOR LOW HANDICAP PLAYERS BUT IM ABOUT A 15 SO THERE PERFECT FOR ME. THE REASON I WENT WITH THESE IS I WAS HITTING THE 6 IRON ABOUT 5 YARD FURTHER THAN MOST CLUBS AND 10 YARDS FURTHER IN SOME CASES AND I TRIED ABOUT EVERY CLUB THEY HAVE. I HAVE A SWING SPEED OF 75 AVERAGE WITH MY IRONS SO THE UNIFLEX WORKED PERFECT FOR ME AND THE BALL FLIGHT WAS PERFECT. I SOMETIMES LIKE TO WORK THE BALL A LITTLE BUT NOT TO MUCH SO EVEN IF IM OFF A LITTLE THESE ARE VERY FORGIVING BUT YET, PLAYABLE ALSO.
