Versatility
Lantern has many settings to suit your needs from dim to bright. Pop up flashlight is real bright and a great idea. I bought and used one last year and bought a second one this year. A great investment.

Great Lanturn
This thing really is excellent. It isn't the brightest out there but plenty to play a board game by or read or just give some light. The detatchable flashlight is easily the best feature and very bright. It uses 4D batteries instead of 8 which saves on batteries especially if you have rechargeable Ds.
