Rated 4 out of 5 by Odin01 Remember you are camping! It is not a mattress and it claims not to be a mattress either. The pad protects your bony prominences from the ground, provides a barrier from dampness, feels like an extra pad between you and the ground, insulates you from the ground, rolls inside sleeping bag well, and can be rolled up for easy storage,. It is lite and feels like an egg cushion pad. Overall, the product's claims are correct. And, I even bought one for my friend! February 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sam34 As Advertised The sleeping pads kept my son and I off of the cold damp ground, and gave a small amount of cushion. First time sleeping in a tent was better than either one of us expected! Glad I bought these! May 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Paul the car camper comfortable but a bit bulky Bought this mat to go camping with the scouts. Although there were tree roots and uneven ground under the tent i couldn't feel a thing. I'm 6'2" and was covered head to toe with some to spare. It doesn't roll up very small and ot is wide-good for car camping though. October 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kemosaubee Very Comfortable Purchased for two Grandson's on a Scouting Back Packing/ Hike/ Camp out in The Black Hills. All three of us use three of these pads because of comfort, light weight and portability. Not quite a Serta Mattress but you can count just about the same amount of sheep! July 15, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by GeminiOne kinda bulky Average for a sleeping bag mat. Bulky. Does ok, average, nothing special. February 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Momma bear Made camping trip comfortable for 13 year old non-camper Kept comfortable and dry when water leaked into tent during rain storm. Definitely helped with hard rocky ground. Well worth the price. July 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Murph What was needed and a great value A good size for our Boy Scout of typical 11 yo size. A good R insulating value. Vs the square one, we think the roll up is better to strap on top of pack. Feather weight. March 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by R8rWest Warm up without the weight! Bought this for my son's scout camping trip this past week. It was about 40 degrees, and this insulated so well that at one point, I had my seeping bag open and was sleeping just on the mat. Still warm. October 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Tdic Great for the Price Best camping pad for the money. Affordable, Made in USA, and surprisingly comfortable. What more could you ask for really? August 30, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Billy Bob Not bad. We went with this mat because it was what I could afford. When I am ready for another one, I would go with the wider mat. I have broad shoulders so I hang off the edges. It would also be nice for the added length so that my pillow would not be on the ground. I think I would stick with foam over air again because of durability. The foam has survived briar patches without the need of a patch kit like air mats would. Spend the extra cash if you have it and get the bigger mat. September 13, 2012
