Not comfortable at all.
Like I was sleeping directly on the ground!

good value
All 3 of my kids use this when they go camping. They use it on the ground or on bunk beds. They really like it!

comfortable but a bit bulky
Bought this mat to go camping with the scouts. Although there were tree roots and uneven ground under the tent i couldn't feel a thing. I'm 6'2" and was covered head to toe with some to spare. It doesn't roll up very small and ot is wide-good for car camping though.

I wouldn't buy this product again
Too expensive for what it is.

Not bad.
We went with this mat because it was what I could afford. When I am ready for another one, I would go with the wider mat. I have broad shoulders so I hang off the edges. It would also be nice for the added length so that my pillow would not be on the ground. I think I would stick with foam over air again because of durability. The foam has survived briar patches without the need of a patch kit like air mats would. Spend the extra cash if you have it and get the bigger mat.

Therm-A-Rest RidgeRest Classic Mattress
The mattress is thin enough to not be combersome and just slightly softer than the groud.

Better than hard ground
We got this sleeping pad for a 4-day camping trip for Dad, who hates the inflatable type of mattresses. It worked well, in that id didn't deflate :-) The foam is not very comfortable but it's better than nothing! The sleeping pad rolls up and can be tied to a pack.
