Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeff Easy to set up
I used this for the first time on a very windy day and only a 6 year old to help. Once I realized to keep the supports assembled and bend them to fit, it went quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jeff_285 good buy in a good tent
I bought this tent for me and my son to cub scout camp in. The center height is tall enough that I can stand up in it and it has enough floor area that the rest of the family could join us if they wanted to. Overall construction seems to be good as I noted no defects and it lasted through our first outing with no issues. It goes up fast. You could set it up alone but having an extra person really helps. My son really loved it and it is a vast improvement over my 30 year old 7x8 3 person dome tent that we had been using. It is a bit drafty for cool weather camping so if you use it for that, make sure you have a good sleeping bag to keep you warm.

Ya, it is a nice tent! I had a nice time camping in Wisconsin with my 4 person family. We went fishing and caught 5 pounds of salmon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bigbear VG tent, with one minor design issue.
Purchased it for a Scouting event weekend. Couldn't wait to set it up and use. Pretty impressed with the ease of set up and quality. The floor could be a little more robust and heavier. I really don't know how anyone could consider this a "5" person tent. Two adult leaders and their gear and the tent was comfortably maxed out. No big issue just be aware of that. I think all the manufacturers over rate the capacity of their tents.
We were wakened by a major rainstorm in the middle of the night. The rainfly did it's job and the tent stayed dry with one minor issue. The rain dripping from the front of the rainfly deposited that water on the door and saturated it. Now opening the door and going in and out of the tent allowed that water to go into the tent. I consider this to be a design issue. The front of the rainfly - the section over the door - should be extended so that rain dripping off the rainfly falls in front of the tent, NOT on the door. Other than that, a pretty good tent and a real dollar value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JD So far so good
I bought this tent just the other week. It was very easy to setup. I was concerned that the queen size mattress might not fit. To my dismay it did with some room to spear. I was able to squeeze a pretty big dog bed as well. I have only used this tent once, so not 100% sure how it will hold up, but so far so good!

This tent was bought for scout camping trips and it is great! Perfect size for 2 or 3 people and gear with room to move. Excellent rain fly keeps you during even during heavy rains.
Very happy and not bad price $136 shipped with tax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Greenfielder Good Value Tent
Easy to set up, stayed dry in the rain and easy to get in in out of. Sleeps 3 adults comfortably. Would be very cramped with 5 adults.

Recently purchased this tent for a trip to Yellowstone. Tent arrived and I was quite happy with the ease of setup and size. Noticed that it didn't come with guy wires in the corners. Just two along the side.
We slept in it the first night with no problems and went for a hike to come back and find the tent had collapsed in upon itself. The rest of the tents in the camp ground were all standing but ours had some kind of catastrophic meltdown. Other campers came to admire our brand new tent/pile of fabric and shattered fibreglass poles.
Thanks to dicks for their quick response in taking it back and their apologies. Eureka on the other hand was quite non challant about the fact that their tent had been the mockery of the campground.
If you need a tent for one night, and one night only. Then this one is for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Summiteer1 Met all our needs!
Bought online 2 weeks ago and just used in the California Cascade Mountains these past 3 days. Not too heavy and easy to set up. A 2nd person helps with the pole setup but other than that, setup and breakdown are 1-man jobs. My only suggestion for improvement is a door that fastens with velcro in addition to a full zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BP007 Great Tent
I posted an earlier review prior to my camping trip and as I had said I'm reporting back on the performance of the Tetragon 5 by Eureka. The tent was reasonably easy to set up and I found the thick yellow stakes provided extremely useful given the type of ground we were on. My brother-in-law used some aftermarket thin metal ones I had on his tent along with his provided stakes and they just don't hold as well. I like the tarp tent cover that protrudes over the front entry and rear window area of the tent. Also the ventilation in this tent is great with the screened vents and window area. The inside of the tent has two storage pockets one each side and an overhead screened storage shelf that clips on and is very handy. I found the tent roomy for me and could be for 2 but I've never been one to like or agree with what the advertised amount of sleeping capacity can be, that to me would be uncomfortable. The height is adequate at 6' even though I'm over 6' it worked out fine with just a little tilt of my back and head. The front zippered door screen can require two hands at times to prevent occasional snagging but that could just be technique or my impatience at times. I very much enjoyed this tent as advertised and recommended and found the quality to be excellent. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the performance of the Eureka Tetragon 5.
