Avoid this Bag I bought this bag at a Dicks Sporting Goods, i found they had overpriced this considerably more than its worth when i went online afterwards. some people have bought the same bag for $60...I paid $140 at the store and its only $99 on the Dicks website. besides that, after a month of all indoor use, the bag has rips and tears at most of the seams, which I've had to sew and patch. the bag is losing its stuffing little by little through the seams. Very shoddy stitching. considering I've been sleeping on a sleeping pad/carpeted floor for the entire life of the bag, it should not be falling apart this fast. I plan to be back on the road again in a few weeks, and ill be returning this bag before i go. Not durable, though it is incredibly warm and compresses well and is of average weight. if it were made of rip-stop fabric and had double stitching, i would buy it in a heartbeat again. Great bag Purchased this in store for ~ $120 used at Red River Gorge and Otter Creek during spring and fall, stayed toasty when it was around 40 degrees outside wearing only boxers. Haven't had a chance to test in winter conditions yet. Lofts nicely, and packs fairly small, stuff sack was included, though I replaced that with a sea to summit event 10L drysack for carrying outside my pack. November 24, 2012
Stuff bag was not included We haven't used this product yet, but it feels great, looks well made and I love the light weight feature. I was disappointed when I learned that the stuff sack was not included, as described above. November 15, 2012
So far so good Used it for 3 day Car Camping at the Smoky's during the October Fall Season. It was pretty comfy at 40F. Haven't tried it at much more colder conditions. But I hope this would hold strong. I got a Regular and I'm 6'0 so this came in exactly fitting me, with little to no room to extend myself. But it was pretty fine, I could manage myself warmer. COLD Child took this on a 4 day adventure camp. Was COLD and the temp only got down to around 50. October 17, 2012
Very warm Used it on a motorcycle camping trip and found the Solar Down 20 very warm. October 16, 2012
Just what we expected The boys love camping, so that is the main idea behind the purchase of this product October 16, 2012
Comfortable! Used in the Adk high peaks for two nights in summer and held up well with no problems... love it so far. August 28, 2012
Does the job. Packs small and light enough for recreational backpacking while plenty warm enough for spring and fall temperatures. August 21, 2012
Don't buy Ripped the second day of a week long Appalachian Trail hike. Do not buy! June 4, 2012
