The break-in period is minimal. The upper is nice and soft. The shoe is very comfortable and grip is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by smashgirl I love this shoe!
This is my second pair of this shoe. The only tennis store in Albuquerque that carried Babalot closed, so I went online. I hope it doesn't get discontinued. Very comfortable and wide enough in the toe box to allow for swelling while playing so my feet don't cramp. It has a lot of bounce, which I like a lot! Also, it is a good-looking shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TeeJockette Good stability
I am a singles tennis player, on two USTA teams, and play doubles in leagues and clinics, so I'm on the court three to four times a week. I love the look of these, and was really hoping they would perform as well. I have problems with pain in bunions, and have a herniated disc that causes sciatica pain. I only experienced pain and numbness in the toes on my right foot. I just played through it. I was still able to play well, and coming from extremely comfortable Asics (Gel Rocket), I realized the added stability with these Babolat's helped my performance in terms of quickness at the net and changing direction. I had my strongest playing performance wearing these, so I'm working them in with my Asics to get them broken in and plan to make these my go to tennis shoes. Also, though the Asics don't cause any pain, I rolled my ankle at the net yesterday and afterward had a pain in my knee. I'm definitely sticking with the Babolat's for the added stability, and feel confident that once they are broken in, they'll be really great for my game.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes. I wear orthodics, but I don't need them with these Babolat shoes, plus they are economical.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Leah Breaking down
I got these shoes about 5 months ago, and I play on hard court and on clay. They are very comfortable and nice looking, but for tennis players, The sole of the shoe breaks down very easily. It has been about 5 months and my shoes have already started breaking down. Almost all the traction on the shoes is gone and i have no traction on the ground. Babolat has very good design and comfortability, but the quality of the sole is not good. If you are just running these are perfect, but for tennis especially if you play on hard court/clay, these would break down easily just a heads up. But other than that I loved the shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sammi I will definitely purchase this product
I just received my new shoes yesterday, wore them around the house last night, and again this morning during circuit training...what was obvious was the strong side-to-side support these shoes offer to the forefoot. There is also strong support for the balls of the feet making pivoting easier on the feet. I play tennis 4-5 times a week; I think I'm in for a long-lasting relationship with Babolat shoes! Also...I wear an 8.5 shoe but ordered a 9 and it's a perfect fit! Thank you, Babolat!

In the past I have only worn Nike because of the comfortable fit and arch of the shoe, but once I put these shoes on it became my new favourite.
