Block Targets Black CB16 Crossbow Target 4.1 5 8 8
Does the job After using a homemade target for several months I got the block target. Great sale and I couldn't pass it up. It works well and is easy to carry. At 10 yards the bolts are pretty hard to remove but anything passed that they come out pretty easy. It's a good target. December 8, 2014
Makes a good backstop The block stops 20" arrows shot at 385 fps. When shooting the broad side of the target, the arrows usually stick out the back by an inch or so. This is a good thing because you can get your wife or buddy to push the arrow from one side while you pull from the other side. Whacking them with a 2x4 seems to do the trick. Once the arrow starts to move, it slides out rather easy. If you don't have a wife or a buddy, or if the arrow does not stick out the back side, Lots of Luck trying to get your arrow out -- it's almost impossible even with arrow grippers. I am going to get a bag target and use the block as really expensive backstop to keep the bag in place. December 5, 2014
Don't give up if arrows seem hard to pull out Bought the block a couple days ago for my barnett vengeance. I shot two arrows at 20 yds and tried to pull them out. They felt like they were stuck in concrete. I got online to see if others were having the same problem. I tried bringing the block in the house to warm up. I stood on it and pulled with both hands. I wiggled. Nothing worked until I simply twisted the arrow. (I put on rubber gloves so I could get a better grip) Less than a 1/4 turn is all you need. I have no idea what this does to free the tip but it works and the arrows slid out like butter. November 20, 2014
BEST FOR CROSSBOWS VERY GOOD HEAVY DUTY TARGET,,,,,, DICK'S S G BEST SERVICE GOOD PEOPLE ! louis270w October 25, 2013
Super stopper The cb16 has no problem stopping my Barnett Ghost 350 bolts. I did purchase a Budner arrow puller which works great with this Target and my worn out hands (63 years old).Very portable and easy to set up. Highly recommended. September 10, 2013
Block Crossbow Target Good price product and arrived very quickly. seems to hold up nicely so far. June 28, 2013
great target Just used it, works great except to remove arrows from block. I had a rubber arrow remover and tried that method and it worked much better.I recommend this product. June 16, 2013
Excellant for the Online price Bought this online and saved $20.00 plus free shipping !! Can't beat that. This is the Crossbow Block. Overall is is a good purchase. On the down side, The 22" arrows come out the back side and it buries it right up to the Fletchings. There in itself lies the problem. You have a hard time geetint them out of the Block. Seems the Block grips the arrows and is exstemely difficult removing them. I'm using the Carbon Fiber ones. The instructions say wiggle the arrows around the pull to remove them. If you are using the Aluminum ones,BAD, might bend them. I turn the block around and use a rubber mallet to push the arrows back out enough to grab them and pull them out .Still tough to pull though. I even tried spraying the arrows with a light Silicine spray, Not good. Arrow buried almost to the Nock. LOL Anyone else having this problem ??? December 28, 2012
