Not so sure....
I got this tube with high hopes after picking up a new Mossberg 935. I didn't spend enough time trying a variety of shells out with this but what I did try I wasn't overly impressed. Shooting generic Remington #4 3.5 inch shells the 40 yard pattern was patchy, and I wasn't confident in it at all. As with any choke you need to find the best ammo. My recommendation now is #6 shot 3 inch Federal with the flight control wad. This seemed to pattern the best now that I've done some more research. I haven't tried any premium loads such as Hevi Shot Magnum Blend but I will in the not so distant future. The choke tube is very well made and looks beautiful in the gun. Do some homework though before the season and try many different kinds of shell set ups because the generic Remington stuff out of this that you can pick up cheap off the shelf don't seem to perform very well at all.
