I bought this bow last fall and have taken several rabbits and other small game. It is sighted into 40 yards but i have shot 50 yards with it and i must say it has got some power. I plan on taking a buck with it this coming fall so we will see how that goes. overall its a steal!! I strongly advise you buy this bow if you're just starting out

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hubschrauber Good Choice For Young Archers
The adjustability of this bow is its main feature. If you're looking for a "real" bow that a kid around 8 years old or so can start with and grow, the Outbreak gives you a choice other than the semi-toy bows that are marketed for younger kids. This wouldn't be right for everyone, but if you intend to really teach a kid to shoot a real bow the right way, the "toy bows" can only go so far. The Outbreak doesn't have the latest, greatest popular archery technology (e.g. single cam, parallel limbs, etc.) but you won't find a bow that does have that _and_ the adjustability. The Outbreak is the clear choice if one of the things you need is the ability to adjust the bow from very low draw length/weight (for a kid) all the way up to a "tall man's" draw length and full hunting-capable draw weight.
