Rated 4 out of 5 by Precious Hawk Good little tent, could be just a little bigger.
Bought this tent as a substitute to a larger 12x12 I take monthly camping with scouts to try and reduce my foot print in the camping area at some of the sites.
Was very easy to set up and take down and appeared to be good quality. I'm six foot tall, and barely fit in with out touching both ends. Did barely have enough room on the side to place my pack, but again could have use a couple more inches to prevent from being cramped. Especially with my heavy winter bag, I took since temps where in the mid/low 20's. So I have concerns that it could leak in the rain from touching the sides while I sleep. Will have to see how my lighter bag fits later in the spring. It had a little net you could tie into the ceiling to hang gear. However I didn't put it up, since it would have been in the way when I sat up. With the door open and the fly zip shut, it did appear roomier than I thought when initially setting up.
Overall can't complain as it did what I bought it for (and I got it on sale). But would really like it, if it was just 4" longer and 4" wider.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SVSUman Excellent Entry Level Tent
I gave this tent an "Excellent" rating because for the money, it is simply an excellent tent. It is a great entry level tent for beginning backpackers or campers who don't want to start out spending a ton of money. I bought it on sale at Dick's for $80 and used it on a two night middle of June backpacking trip in Northern Michigan with my daughter. The first night it was 40 degrees with a heavy due in the morning and the second night it rained the entire night. Both nights the tent performed without any problems or leaks which made me very happy to wake up dry and warm. Set up and take down is fast and easy too. There are lighter tents on the market, but since it is a two person tent, the weight can be easily divided between two hikers to lessen the load. The vestibule was also nice to have since we kept our boots outside so as not to bring any ticks into the tent and the boots stayed dry during the all night rain. I love this tent and plan to use it on all my future backpacking trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hikergirl01 Works great for my needs
I've been carrying around a backpacking tent for years that is almost 7 lbs. YIKES.
I figured for the price, I would give this tent a try.
2 people would be rather squished. I went with my 50lb dog, and I fit both of us in the tent with my backpack. Shoes & other accessories stored in the vestibule
I was able to get out this weekend and try it out. I was rather warm, and I'm a cold sleeper.
Lightweight, easy to put up / take down. Warm. You can't beat the price. I am very satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Brian35 Great Value, wish it had a couple things
It's a great lightweight tent. Super easy to set up. I'm not sure if it would be good for 90s with a chance of rain. Ventilation with the fly on is minimal and the rest of the tent is all mesh. I was fine at 40F. The vent hole was a good idea. There was some condensation but it didn't drip on me like some tents. For 2 people over 6 foot, it's gonna be tight. I was fine just me and my pack. Build quality seems quite good. Bottom liner could be thicker though

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1CanisLupus Excellent tent
Bought this tent to get a good quality backpacking tent and used it recently camping in a State Park. Haven't used it on a backpacking trip yet, but definitely super easy to setup and take down. Sturdy and high quality tent. Some reviews have said there is not enough room for two, but when backpacking you want light an sturdy and shouldn't expect tons of room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VAfromVA GREAT tent
I bought this tent over a year ago and have used it for about 10 weekend trips since. Most of those have been backpacking on the AT or in Shenandoah Nat. Park - having it be a mostly mesh body is great - can leave the fly off and star gaze. Being free standing is also wonderful - with the mostly mild weather I rarely even stake it and it does just fine. My boyfriend and I sleep in it w our packs at our feet - works out well (and I am 5'11"#. My friends who backpack with me have 'fancy' brands #GoLIte, Six Moons, etc.# and all paid double or triple what I did and many of them are on their 2nd this year, while I am still thrilled with my Kelty!
