Kelty Redstone 60L Frame Pack 3.7 5 7 7
Great product This pack is sold only through Dick's. I liked the pack because of the adjustable suspension system. I agree with other reviews. It needs more outside pockes. I have done a lot of up and down hiking with this pack and am very satisfied. Even when I went on several practice hikes with it fully loaded, the pack performed excellently. I carried all I needed for my trip including extra water. A great buy. May 3, 2013
great bag This bag provides plenty of storage space for a weekend trip or a week. I normally carry around 20 pounds for a weekend. The hip belt provides excellent weight transfer to the hips, and the front access panel provides quick access needed items. The side pockets also carry a one liter bottle very nicely. Great Multi-Day Pack Bought this pack last minute for a 4-day pack on the OHT (Ozark Highland Trail) and it worked great. Took a few stops the first day to fine-tune the frame, but once there the pack made 45 lbs feel like 20. Loved the multiple access points to the main compartment and the ease of loading/unloading the pack. Only complaint is that there are not external pockets save two small pockets for water bottles on the sides and two small pockets on the hip belt. October 21, 2012
ITS A REALLY GOOD BAG ITS GOOD JUST GET THE SUSPESION RIGHT July 21, 2012
Everyone in my family wants this pack! Great pack, just needs pockets on the outside. July 9, 2012
uncumfortable! I liked everything about this pack except for the most important part, the hip belt. This pack would not stay on my hips unless I tightened the belt way more than should've been needed (bruised my belly). Had to carry 10 miles on my shoulders. It could also use more exterior pockets. Light and Comfortable I bought this pack for a 4 day on the AT (Appalachian trail) and have been please so far with its performance. I am 6'2" 230lbs and I have a 21" torso so for me to find a midsize pack that feels right is not so easy. The suspension system is extremely comfortable and the pack is light at just over 3lbs. I wish there was at least 1 exterior zip pocket for my jetboil and also a floor between the sleeping bag compartment and the main body. If you are putting everything is compression bags as I do then it is not too terribly inconvenient. All in all it is a very nice carry but lacking in external pockets. May 7, 2012
