Junk Do Not Buy I purchased this pole as a total novice and thought I would bring it out to try my luck at catfish. It is cheap and come with monofiliment already on it. I took it out to use and noticed it wouldn't reel. When I took it apart the reel completely fell apart. It is made out of cheap brittle plastic. I'm glad I never actually had a fish on it. Look else where, I now have a nice reel I purchased from Dicks for $35 on clearance and a Mudville pole. So far it has held up great. August 21, 2012
mine is busted Mine is just over a year old. The reel seat has seperated from the rest of the rod. I would not recommend this rod to anyone. August 19, 2012
