I don't know why anyone who is not a pga professional would spend more than $15 on a pacl of balls. Noodles and Pinnacle Gold are the best ball for the average golfer. If you can't compress the ball with your swing, then your just wasting your money. Sure these are great balls for people who know what to do with them. I just think its silly for average people to waste $20-$30 more dollars on a pack of balls. Use that extra money to play a nice course.

Better than PV1 if you swing under 100 MPH
I'm an ex-PGA professional and current 2.8 handicap. I've been playing and paying for the PV1 since they came out - and loved them. I'm 46 now and I'm not the player I used to be - my club head speed is 105 w/ my driver. I tried the Chrome this past weekend and loved it -I saw a better ball flight and noticable distance gains (@+10 on the drive). I liked the feel with the wedges and putters too....and at $10-$12 cheaper per dozen, they are a great value.

Not for me
The store salesman recommended this ball since my swing speed is in the 90's. This ball is like hitting a pumpkin. It has no zip off the club face. I don't seem to hit it nearly as far as the ProV1 ball. I'm going back to the ProV1.

Average
Played1round with the Callaway chrome balls and basically saw average results. No characteristics really stood out. Many other balls on market just as good with a lower price.

Very Good Ball
I have been hitting ProV1 for a long time. Always hated paying the price for them, even on sale. These are generally $10 or so less than ProV1. Feel is good, distance is the same, bites the green well.

Good ball for a good price!
Plays very similar to the Hex Black but for around $10 less per dozen!

HEX Chrome = great ball
Been gaming these balls since they came out. Great for moderate swing speeds as advertised. Dicks alway have them in stock and are priced fair. I recommend this to anyone with a swing speed of 105 and under.
