Callaway HEX Black Tour Golf Balls
Calaway HEX Black Tour Golf Balls
Good golfball, but not quite the soft feel of a Pro V or Taylormade. Rolls good, moderate spin. I'd use them again.

This ball works great in windy conditions especially on cross winds. The cover is slightly more durable than the previous Hex Tour and is much more durable than the Nike 20xi and new Titleist ProV1. Usually, I cut the covers on those brands in one or two iron shots and need to change a ball on every other hole but with the new Hex Tour I can typically get 9 holes out of it. The new cover feels great off the putter, much better than the cheaper Hot Pro. The only con I've noticed so far is that when I hit it with my driver the paint cracks a little in a larger hex pattern of the dimple design which I didn't have with the old Hex Tour.

If u like ProV1s but hate paying $50 try these chrome blacks. Fly straighter then provs and still give u the excellent feel and green side spin we all love for a little bit cheaper. The honeycomb patter really does work especially in the wind!

I've been playing this ball after using the Hex Chrome most of last year.
The Chrome has good spin and distance, but the distance and spin from the Hex Black is even better.
Love being able to get wedge and shorter shots to check.
Is a great ball and will continue to play it.

Excellent distance. Super spin on wedges. Scuffs more easily than other tour caliber balls.

Great feel, control and distance. Offer of 6 free balls helped make my decision of trying these balls a lot easier. A good tour caliber ball.

While I haven't hit any of the new batch of Callaways yet this year due to the weather, I can highly recommend them from having played them last year. They are definitely a lively ball and spin as well as any I've played. In contrast to most of the newer balls, My only beef is that they do cut somewhat easily. At $46 a box, they should last longer.

This ball is an excellent ball for all handicaps
The HEX Black is a great ball, soft feel, alot of spin around the greens and distance is great.... Good for all handicaps to use. It was hard to get used to the Hex dimples but once I did the ball will stay in my bag for awhile. The cover takes a beating with the wedges, it reacts very well with the putter...
Overall a great ball.

This Mountaineer is a believer
Best short game ball you can buy. Not quite as long as ProV1x, but close. Cuts easier, but that's the trade off for great spin. Wish Phil would win the Masters so maybe Callaway would reduce the price again.
