Rated 4 out of 5 by golf junkee best bang for buck golf ball
Very soft feel especially at 20 dollars a dozen. Only downside is they do get bruised very easily. Still play as well pro v does for me

Long, straight and stops on the green. The U6 is especially the best to buy.

This ball does it all! I've been playing this U4 for about a year now and it is solid. The feel, the spin, the flight, just phenomenal. I won't buy anything else. I've already turned several other of my golfing buddies on to them, and they also love them.
I'm a 7 handicap who plays about 1-3 rds per week.

Outstanding ball. It compares favorably with much more expensive balls and is simply great around the greens. I am a "bogie" golfer, handicap 15 to 20, so my game is basically 3 clubs, Driver, 3 or 4 Wood and Wedge.
I find my drives have been straighter and about 5 to 10 yards longer than the other balls I have been using, Nike and Titleist. But this ball and its big brother the U6 really shine around the green. My wedge and 8/9 iron shots have held on the greens much better than the other balls I have been using. The ball has a really soft feel and holds the greens, and greens I play on are fast and at times hard to stop a ball on them.
I highly recommend these balls.
One Con. The price of bot the U6 and U4 balls are comparable to competitors offerings at the list pricing. Unfortunately, since the only way to obtain them is via the internet, there is the shipping costs that make these balls more expensive that say the Nike ANZ One or the Titleist VI series balls. One solution might be to use the USPS shipping boxes, and ship free for multibox orders, or orders over 50.00. Just at thougth.

I've played Titleist ProV1 and Calloway but I've always preferred the Maxfli balls over the years. This Maxfli U4 has as good a spin off the irons as any ball out there. Excellent ball if you're looking for a ball for around the green. It may not be as long but is sure does stop on a dime.

I've been a die hard fan of titleist pro v1 since i can remember, but on a great golfer friend of mine, 1 hdcp, said he bought a box and loved the ball. I have to tell you this has been the best ball i have used in years. They fly perfect, the stop on a dime, and overall feel off the putter is great. The only issue i have had is if you use a 60+ loft and are like me, likes to open the stance and flop a 20yd shot in, the cover is a little softer then i prefer. Pro v1's seem not to cut as easy, but at the buy one get one 1.60 ball vs a 4.00 ball, i can afford to use two a round. Bought 8 dozen (16 total) to keep the great deal alive.

Been playing these balls often more so since they improved the cover, they no longer fish scale when you hit them with a well struck wedge shot, with my current driver set up I find that with my driver set at 10.5 these balls carry much further, they don't have a lot of spin with the driver like say a prov1 but mid to short irons they behave pretty close also they have a firm feel, all in all I would recommend these to players with a swing speed above 100mph
