good ball
years ago maxfi made a good ball then fell off the market. this new u4 should put them back in the game. i thought it was as good as pro v and saved me money...good job maxfi

Excellent golf ball, very similar to the pro v1 but about 15$ cheaper.

excellent results
I was going to be playing two rounds in FL on a course with water on 14 holes, didn't want to dunk ProVs or Bridgestones, so bought a dozen of these Maxfli U/4x. I rinsed 4 the first day and shot 83. Next day I kept it dry the entire round, had 28 putts and shot 77, a good score for me(7). I did not make a direct comparison but did not seem to lose any distance compared to ProV but performed very well around the green; I got up and down several times. The ball would check nicely when I wanted it to, felt good off of the putter. Will buy some more.

maxflis are the only golf ball i play and i always like the way the ball feels coming off the clubs

Great value compared to ProV1x
Plays longer than the ProV1x for players with higher swing speed and is more durable than any other ball I have played. I can't find anything not to like and if I watch the sales I get them for $34 a dozen and at times 2 dozen for $34.

Maxfli = Titleist
Comparable to the Pro v 1x. Cover is soft. Great stopping power as well.

Surprising results
For a 11 handicapper like myself, the U/4x balls perform very similar to the ProV1x and I was suprised at the spin response on the green. With a few coupons stacked on top of a sale going on at Dicks, was able to pay about $30/doz. At this price, I'll be buying this ball often as a substitute for the more expensive ProV1x... then I won't cringe as much when I smoke one into the woods!

The Distance and the feel of U/4X
I have been playing with the ball for 3 months. The plus side is the feel of the ball when struck, the ease you have to be able to spin the ball on the green for check stops. The distance you get with it are good, but I have found them to actually be under the longest ball that I play by 12 to 15 yards. The outside cover is soft, and when struck to put a lot of spin on the ball you will leave a scratch or scale mark on the ball from the iron. All in all for the money I think it is a wonderful ball, I like them, I just would not use them for my long drive ball.
