long, soft and forgiving
the noodle is all it is talked up to be with the additional feature of being much straighter off the driver than most balls.....a bit more forgiving of off center hits....

Noodle (Long and Soft) golf ball
The Noodle was recommended to me three years ago when I was playing with this particular person in November. He told me it was a great ball for late fall and early spring golf. While I play other golf balls during warmer weather and throughout the summer, I prefer the Noodle when I play in temperatures that are in the 40s. Just has a better feel to it than any other ball I've tried to use in the cold.

Great
As an older golfer, whose swing isn't the fastest, I need all the help I can get. The Noodle gives me about 10 extra yards per swing. I love it.

Good as the high priced
Tests show that the average golfer can not compress the high priced golf balls so each time they are hit the average golfer is actually loosing distance. The Noodle is compressable and has great feel. Distance is as good as you can get from any ball and the price is less than half.

Quality Ball
These balls carry as good as any I've ever played. They are durable and are good in cool weather & warm. They have a great feel on the putting green. They don't check up or spin back quite like an expensive 3 piece ball, but for the price, they are a terrific deal.
Overall, I am very pleased with the ball. I've cut down my iron swing in favor of accuracy, but I haven't lost any distance.
Maybe it's not all the ball, but I can tell you, the ball hasn't hurt any part of my game.
Give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Great cold weather ball
I play the ProV1 and had a buddy playing the Noodle L&S. He out drove me for the first time by 15 yards. I tried one and 20 yards further in the cold. Wow! very nice... I still love the ProV but will play Noodle in the winter moving forward.
