I've used this lure since it first came out. Like all the Zoom products, it has high salt content that help the bait suspend nicely and makes fish hold on it longer. Great swimming action through weeds when properly rigged Texas style with no weight. Only draw back - its a very soft bait. Generally good for only one or two fish, but I'm willing to make that trade off.

Long-lasting product, bass do LOVE EM. Zoom does make good fishing products.

I have switched to the Zoom Swimmin' Super Fluke as my "go to" bait for both small and largemouth bass fishing. They can be very effectively fished as a surface bait in very thick aquatic vegetation and are extremely effective when fished that way for largemouth bass. They can also be fished as a "wake bait" or fished more slowly as a subsurface bait. My favorite colors are Baby Bass, Pearl, and Houdini. You need to have several bags of these in your arsenal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by WooWoo1 Excellent, versatile bass lure
Zoom hit it out of the park with this bait. Probably the most versatile bait I have now. Fished on a jig head, slider head, belly weight hook, weightless, Texas/Carolina rigged, you can't go wrong. My favorite technique is to fish it with a 1/16oz belly weight hook in pads...let it sink in the holes and rip it back to the surface and swim it to the next hole. Great, great bait.

I bought the Zoom Swimmin Jerkbait hoping I could use on a jig for Walleye but the groove under the belly is too deep and it wont sit on the hook properly causing it to float off the hook. Wasn't good for vertical jigging at all but was a very good quality pl;astic when it came to material used.

Okay, 1st let me say that there is not enough color selection for this lure [currently 3, at least in the Clearwater store]. That being said, I have to say that this lure is growing on me. The first time I used this lure I did not like it, but that's because I wasn't using it right. These are very hard to keep "down" if retrieving. The best application is to cast, let sink, then twitch or jerk, then repeat [fast or slow, depending on the bite]. My favorite color WAS white. While in the store one day I bought a pack of the new summer craw color, just for the sake of it. Then, one day I was not getting any hits on the white, so I switched to the summer craw. Well, on the next 5 casts in a row, I landed a bass each time [including the meanest, strongest 4lber I've ever fought]! Guess, what my new summer color is now? These lures are mostly durable, texas rigged, but some bass rip 'em to shreds! I typically use these on a 3/0 or 4/0 barbless WEIGHTED hook, for more control. Works like a charm!!

Zoom makes great baits but they don't last very long so I can't give it 5 stars.

After using regular flukes and juniors with great success for fresh and salt I decided to try the swimming version. Looks great in the water with terrific action. Only problem is they are too soft and tear up too easily at least for me. One peck by a small fish and half the tail rips off. Couldn't imagine what a speckled trout or flounder would do too it.
