These convertible length Columbia pants will be great for kayaking and many more uses. I can't wait to use these pants-- both as full length pants and as shorts. Great Pants I have worn these pants once so far. They are very comfortable and well made. They are a sturdy material that should wear well. The bottom of the pants got fairly muddy but it all washed out with no problem. If you zip off the pant legs the shorts are very long. I'm not sure that I like that. They go all the way down to my knees but as a pair of pants, I am very happy. February 3, 2013
Good product Haven't had an occasion to wear them but have had a similar product and enjoyed them. They are flexible for variable temperatures during the day. Also dry fast if they get wet. September 23, 2012

Material and construction were very good however size 12 was too small and size 14 sat too low on the hips to be comfortable. The cut was probably designed for a younger person. She would have liked to have been able to keep them but the fit was just not right for frame. May 28, 2012
