Rated 5 out of 5 by smbassman best lure for VT smallmouth I used this lure, color #543 rigged Texas style when I fished in Otter Creek during summer, 2015 and it worked like magic. I cast it out a distance and reeled it back slowly and the bass attacked it. It even outfished a green pumpkin tube lure in this location. June 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by CNYoutdoorsman Senko This bait is a must have. Some say they are too soft and don't last long, but that's what gives them such good action. Texas rig on one end then once it gets too ripped up, use the other end. When that gets too ripped up wacky rig it. When that gets too ripped up either cut off the ends or glue it. I can get one to last over a dozen fish. January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jessie Best in class... This stick bait has just one miniscule flaw. They aren't durable what so ever. That fact aside, they'll catch fish when every other stick bait isn't. Very rarely do I get more than one fish per lure. It's a fair trade off for the softness of these plastic worms though. They have an awesome wriggling action on the fall which almost always get a reaction strike. Especially if you're flipping or pitching into cover. Usually get bit before the bait hits bottom. I have a setup just for soft plastics. 9/10 it's a senko on my hook. I suggest a medium heavy rod with a reel in the 6.3:1 to 6.8:1 range. I personally use a 6.8:1 so I can recover line a little quicker, which is extremely helpful if you get a strike right after hopping the bait. That way you can reel down quick and get a good hook set. Rated 5 out of 5 by bigginsbrownr Bass love em' Fun and very easy to use bait that works great in all seasons and conditions, from early spring, summer, fall, heavy cover, lilly pads, river banks, middle of a lake, topwater and below the surface.. Yamamoto makes great soft plastic baits that are constructed of high quality dense plastic that holds up better than cheaper alternatives. I've tried them all and the Yamamoto Senko is #1 check my instagram feed I only bass fish using Yamamoto worms. @bigginsbrownr July 21, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by tom55 great bait Texas rigged, there is no other bait that's better for bass. Cast near structure with no weight, let it sink under it's own weight and if you don't get a bite before it hits bottom, there are no fish near it, it IS that deadly of a bait. March 31, 2015
