Rated 5 out of 5 by bikermoore Excellent tent for the price! Get one! This tent was on sale for $35 off the shelf (and the regular price was not bad either) and I needed something quickly for the coming weekend. Got it on a Wednesday and set it up in the back yard that evening so that I'd know how it was set up. Good news is that it set up quickly and took me only a few moments to work out some very minor quirks. Took it down and easily put it back in its canvas bag. Used it for two nights the following weekend and we had a 3-hour thunderstorm hit early the morning of the second night. Except for a few drops of water (from the mid-point section of the door) the tent was water tight and held up to the storm very well. I've been in some high quality tents over the years and this one is an amazing buy for the price. With care I could make this tent last at least two years so $35 is a great investment. I know it's not as good as a similar-sized higher priced quality tent but you're getting more for your money. I wouldn't put four adults in it unless I had to but it can sleep three easily. Plenty of room for two campers and gear. The only thing I might recommend is to get a 4x4 foot tarp or plastic sheet to place over the door area to guarantee that rain water is directed away (just use four small clamps to hold it in place, just underneath the lip of the rain fly). Rated 5 out of 5 by anedgo First time camper...great tent, easy to setup!!! I got this tent as a last minute purchase. Was on a father/son camping trip in which there would be bunk houses to sleep in but some of the Dads mentioned bringing their tents if the weather was good and I know if they did my son (age 5) would want to join his friends. After reading the reviews I purchased this tent (I have never slept in a tent before). Great purchase. I put it together at my house to make sure I would know what I was doing. By myself it took about 15 mins to setup (not bad for my first time). At the camp site, sure enough, some dad had tents so I got ours out, got it setup in about 10 minutes (very straight forward a second time). It was the perfect size for me and my son to layout our sleeping bags and to have some room to move around. It says it sleeps 4?that might be a stretch but it was great for the two of us. One thing to note?both nights we were out camping the temps hit the low 40s with wind. We had good sleeping bags and slept in layers but the tent did a great job of keeping all wind out. Noticeably warmer in the tent than outside. The tent was on sale for $35, from $50. I would of easily of paid $50 for it. Some of the other tents that were there were about $300 and were the same size as ours and honestly ours was just as good. Will use it again and would definitely recommend purchasing it. Rated 5 out of 5 by Kenny Perfect tent for me First time camper. I was headed to a motorcycle rally by myself. I needed a tent that was big enough for me, my clothes, and anything I needed to keep out of sight. My priorities were price and carry size. I needed a tent that would pack really small so I could take it safely and securely on my bike for 5 hours on the road. This tent was perfect for that purpose. I assumed that since I only paid $35 that it would be junk, but it turned out to be really good. It rained all night and inside the tent stayed dry. I'm looking forward to doing it again next weekend. Unlike others, I had no problem with the zipper, but there was no way the tent was going back in the carry bag. September 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by jblake35 Perfect Purchased this tent last week, went out camping this weekend. I was skeptical about some features reading reviews about the zipper and so on. However this tent set up extremely easy, was very sturdy, zippers worked great mustve been a bad batch for others. The biggest downfall was our queen sized air mattress was snug with very little room for gear. But it was good enough for 3 people. Tent was excellent price for the bang. Will definitely keep this tent for many many years. Last note it rained hard on us for about an hour stayed completely dry and tent didnt budge with 15-20 mph wind gust. August 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by LICamper Best for kids and inlaws If you dont know to subtract 1from the advertised tent capacity, now you do. This is a 4 person but really 3 person tent. The side walls are very sloped so there isnt much vertical room. To really be comfortable I wouldnt put more than 2 adults plus gear inside. From start to finish it takes me no more than 5 minutes to set up. The poles are fiberglass and you will spend the most time just feeding them through the sleeves. It packs large so its great to keep in your trunk rather than take it hiking. I have never had a drop of rain leak in and it has been good in moderate winds. The zipper is terrible, gets caught on the tent material and requires two hands. I use this tent as a loaner to friends This is a great secondary tent to own but for your primary tent, there are better options. I would look for a tent that comes with aluminum poles and has a better zipper. January 11, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bunster Excellent Value This tent sets up quick and easy. Zippers are excellent, no problems with rain guards catching in zippers. Only 2 poles. My wife and bought one of these for quick overnight trips and also used it on the Oregon coast. It has been a excellent tent. Good coverage on the rain fly. We would recommend this tent to anyone. Excellent price excellent tent. May 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by billy my camping trip I order it online should have went to the store to buy it. I would have saved around $30.00. Any way when i went camping i went for three days. It rained all three days about 5 inches in two days. The tent stayed dry. So over all i think the tent is worth it. May 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by MagMan Fantastic tent for the price I bought this tent in November 2011 for a combined Webelos and Boy Scout camping event. I was looking for something suited to cold(er) weather but tightly constrained on my budget. My observations: 1) The tent is too big and open for real comfort in November weather. In cold weather you want windows that close - not just a rain fly - and you want low air volume so that there's less air to keep warm. 2) The zipper can catch if you don't pay attention to what you are doing, but this is true of every tent I've ever used including Keltys from my youth which cost over $150 in 1985. 3) This tent is *very* easy to set up and break down. My son and I have done it in the dark, TWICE, each time in under 10 minutes. By myself it takes me about 15 minutes. 4) With a little attention to detail this tent rolls up and fits into its original bag very well. I have more room in the bag now than the factory package job gave. 5) Finally, the stakes it cones with are junk and should be replaced while you are buying the tent. This is typical, but important. I would absolutely recommend this tent to anyone on a tight budget or anyone looking to start camping and see if they like camp life. We continue to use this tent and I expect we will for years to come. April 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Boyscout Mom Tent has room for 2 cots. I bought this tent due to easy setup. We are in Boyscouts, So I needed a tent to setup on my own. I tried setup on the floor model in store. Works geat. It rained and it stayed dry without having to seal the seams beforehand. It can sleep 4 people side by side in sleeping bags on floor. But I would say 2 cots comfortably, since it is 7'x7'. I put it on top of a tarp 7'x9'.extra 2 ft in front of door saves from dragging dirt/mud in also keeps tent clean at bottom & extra layer of protection from things poking into tent. I would recommend buying thick camping stakes to hold it down. I use the stakes with the tent to hold down the tarp. My only wish,it was taller like 60 or 66 inches. Store only had Red, I wanted Green, but red works fine. Excellent product !!!!! great buy at $49.99 January 22, 2013
