Rated 3 out of 5áby dano good price for this canoe canoe had scuff marks on it. You expect when buying a new product that the product will be perfect. But it will probably get plenty of scuff marks when used. April 22, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5áby PennyForYourThoughts I simply love it! We live on a lake and this canoe is perfect! I must let you know however that it's a calm water only canoe. I took this in the water with my honey on a windy day and it was concerning. We were fine but it still made us uncomfortable. That said, for calm waters it drives and feels like a dream. The seat backs are really nice but if you want to "lay out" (horizontal) like a normal canoe without backs you may be a bit uncomfortable. This canoe is ideal for fishing or just chilling on the lake. It's fast and somewhat light. You'll need two people if you want to lift it over your head (too unstable for one person for very long). Dragging it by yourself is very easy. It will scratch easily on rocks since it's a polymer bottom. All in all a great price and I'm sure I'll get many years of use out of it. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger because this little baby is worth every penny. Thanks! April 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Savoy Very good for the price This is a very good canoe for the price. The lack of struts make it a bit awkward for one person to load and unload. It is stable in the water, the seats are very comfortable, and there are some nice small storage areas. The only other negative is that the outside of the canoe scratches very easily. March 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Stefan Great first canoe! Purchased on sale for $499. The staff at Dick's was very helpful and brought it out to my truck as well as assisted w/ loading. The last time I had canoed was in one of the old narrow aluminum canoes that tip easily. This canoe, w/ the flat bottom and lightweight construction is much easier to operate. I've only taken it out once, but I had no problem loading it up in the truck by myself (5'10" 175lbs). My 5 year old and I spent 2 hours in mostly calm water with 2 fishing poles (love the built in rod holders!), tackle box, and snacks and there was still plenty of room left over. The cushioned seats with backrests make the whole experience a very comfortable one. The canoe is very stable in the water and we look forward to taking it out many more times. March 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Pops60 Great purchase and transaction I love the canoe. It seems very stable, tracks well, and moves along at a good pace with little effort. The transaction was great. I ordered online, drove to the store the next day, was loaded up and leaving the store in a matter of minutes. September 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby nzski69 Great Lightweight, Stable Canoe! We haven't been in a canoe for a while and the last time was an old fashioned aluminum canoe with the high sides and heavy as heck to portage. The Old Town Saranac 146 Canoe is perfect! It's nice and light, easy to carry, nice low sides to get in and out if you're in the water. Plus, it's very easy to transport to and from the boat/canoe launches or the beach. We tried the Capistrano Flip as a practice in shallow water, just in case we tip in deep water, and we didn't have any problem with the flipping part but getting back in the canoe, even with the low sides is really tough. I think it's tougher with this type of canoe because you don't have the thwarts to grab onto to help pull you in. However, this canoe is very difficult to tip due to the flat bottom. The two seats with backs are very comfortable for either a day of paddling or fishing. There is plenty of room for three people or, in our case, two people and a dog, and still enough room for a cooler, fishing poles and supplies and a dry bag for miscellaneous stuff. We're looking forward to spending a lot more time on the water now! July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Threedogs Great Overall it's a very good product overall, easy to load and unload at 73 lbs...tracks nicely and is very stable even with only myself and my dog, plenty of room to carry what you need, seats are very comfortable and the back adjustment holds well... The only thing I would have like to see done differently is the front seat, it is stationary,it would have been great if they made it to swivel... July 10, 2015
