Rated 5 out of 5 by Ronaldo Catfish Terrorizer I love this canoe. I have cat fished from a kayak for years but I finally got tired of having all my gear piled up on top of me. I have plenty of room with the Old Town Saranac, however. It is very stable and I could not believe how fast it is. I can still keep up with my buddies who have stream lined kayaks. I can sit for hours in the adjustable seats with folding back rests and not be sore. If I do need to stretch, the Saranac is stable enough that I can stand up in it. I am extremely happy with it. I would like to mention that I saved $100 buying it from Dick's compared to the other sporting goods stores. I have it loaded on my truck now and plan on going to catch some big blue cats in the morning. Get your rod and reels and come join us! July 30, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by KenRo Good All Around Canoe Bought This canoe for fishing with the my family and friends. This canoe fits me and my wife and both my kids pretty comfortably. The size makes it easy to maneuver on the water. The features and quality of this canoe is definitely worth the price! July 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Digwoods A pleasure to use on quiet mountain lakes! This canoe was a real bargain and the staff at Dick's were very helpful in getting it out to our vehicle. The canoe was a easily maneuverable boat for my wife and I. The seats are very comfortable and the dry storage compartment was helpful for our camera and other such items. Old Town makes a nice quality canoe and we love it! July 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by butch66 Great canoe This canoe was the first item I bought online from dick's, and it was a great experience. I caught it on sale, and got a great price. When I got to store for pick-up it was very easy, with the online pick-up computer at the front of store. They had plenty of help to load canoe on my truck for me, and was very helpful. I love this canoe, it has comfortable seats, and is set up for fishing. This was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. July 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by MrMikeinTX Great Little Canoe Had the opportunity to take this canoe out twice on the lake. It's a great little canoe. 14'6'' is perfect for what I want to use it for. I can carry it by myself and load it on my truck, but it is a little awkward. Easy enough for 2 people to carry though. Real easy to use/navigate in the water too. I suppose it's because it's not overly long. I really like the middle seat because it's also a little storage area. I put the things I don't want getting wet in there. I really don't have any bad remarks about this canoe. July 1, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by apofjgbqenob 5 stars after two years I have two Saranac 146's that get regular class II use and both have already paid for themselves in saved rental fees. The top rails seem very stout. The plastic bottom will have some give and gain "character" sliding over rocks but this is cosmetic and neither of my boats have faded (stored upside-down under a deck). +1 the seatbacks are a huge plus, but I now have to use a knot to keep the cord in place. +1 for padded seats. -1 tracking because the canoe does not have a keel and is relatively short, but +1 for maneuverability due to length. Old Town went over the top with odd injection-molded features. The center cooler does not close securely (use a bungee cord). Three passengers and an ice chest really stretches the limits for space. The dry storage compartment I only trust my t-shirt in. The boat drains well. The handles are good enough. Expect this canoe to be too heavy to load on top of an SUV alone but an average person could drag it up a sandy incline or onto a tailgate by themselves. June 7, 2016
