No plugs
I love my kayak. there are 2 reasons i did not give this 5 stars.
1. no plugs. i had to spend $30 on plugs. dicks does not even offer them i had to order them from a seperat site. it takes 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large.
2. from the time i ordered my kayak it took almost a month befor i got it. after paying $120 for shipping i was hoping for better service.
even after shipping and buying new plugs it was still cheaper then getting it at any of the kayak shops in the area.

None better for the money
I have had my Prowler 13 for 4 yrs. There is not better all around fishing kayak than this and you can't beat the price. I fish about 40 days a year from this kayak on the saltwater flats around Corpus Christi, TX. I stand up in mine (it takes some practice but is not that difficult) and pole around looking for red fish then get out and fly fish for them. It paddles like a dream and at 13' 4" it tracks well and is still manueverable. I load it in my pickup and let it hang out the back. I also have the 15' version of the same boat but it is a little too long. Harder to turn it and it sticks too far out the back of my truck but it does paddle nicely on long paddles.
I doubt anybody would be unhappy with the Prowler 13.

Another case of buy cheap, buy twice
I purchased two cheaper sit inside kayaks. The first time out I new it was a bad mistake. I then purchased the Sit On Top Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 Angler and I knew I would now injoy Kayaking. I wanted my Fiance to also have an Ocean Kayak. I was repeatedly told she would not be able to handle a 13 foot 4 inch Kayak. She tried a 12' kayak from another quality manufacturer, she then tried my Ocean Prowler 13 Angler. Her comment: 'The Ocean Kayak glided through the water more smoothly, makling it easier to paddle, along with being more manuverable.
