Best buy for the price If you're taller than 6 foot this isn't the bag for you. I'm 6ft and it worked perfectly down to about 25 degrees. Very warm, and quite comfortable as well. I'd buy it again if for some reason I had to. However the outer shell construction isn't super durable so you'd want to put a sheet down under it or a tarp to prevent the bag from getting littles nicks and tears. Hope this helps! Great value for price I purchased two when they were 50% off, so I got both for $70. That's hard to beat for what you're getting, even if Field and Stream isn't the same as one of the top sleeping bag makers. January 14, 2015
Camp Gear Awesome gear for camping and it work extremely well in cold weather. January 13, 2015
Good Bag Bought two bags at a discount (one adult, one child) a few years ago for fall-winter-spring camping. Overall a good bag and warm. Temp at night dropped to the mid 30's and we were warm all night. Only issue, zipper snags near top and hard to close (adult bag). Zipper broke on child bag, I was able to put it together and sewed the bottom end of the zipper together with braided fishing line. Simple fix and worked great. Note: tab at zipper end came off, not sure why, but was able to salvage it. I did see where someone had the zipper break on a camping trip, ours did as well and we were able to fix it on site with no problems. December 12, 2014
Great for a young scout I got this for my son for scouts as he only has a 50 degree summer bag. He really likes the mummy style and has already tried it out in his room. The quality of the bag is just fine for the 4 or so cold weather trips he'll do each year and I expect it to last the next few years until he needs an adult size. We got it on sale but the 40% off was a little misleading because it was from the "original" or list price printed in very small font in the bottom corner of the price tag and not from the large centered dollar amount labeled price on the sticker. Turns out that the everyday price is already like 35% off so it wasn't that great of a savings. November 12, 2014
Great Product for a growing backpacker! My 6 year old grandson has been backpacking since he was 2 years old and has gotten to the age where is wants his own gear for three seasons of backpacking. This sleeping bag is great for all seasons. Great bag for an ultra reasonable price! October 22, 2014
Excellent As advertised. Warm, comfy and sturdy. Great bang for the bucks. October 18, 2014
Not wide enough Very narrow hip area... I'm 5'9 and the hip area was higher than my hips... I had to return. October 15, 2014
Field and stream sleeping bag This bag is warm all night long which is why I bought it. The negative side is that while it says it has extra room in the shoulders i did not find it to be so. Also the feet area is far too restrictive and causes a feeling of claustrophobia. I would not buy this bag again for myself. March 18, 2014
The sleeping bag is comfortable. This sleeping bag was keeping warm only a few seconds after zipping it up. I'm very happy with this sleeping bag. March 18, 2014
