Field & Stream Field Scout 20° Sleeping Bag 2.8 5 12 12
Decent sleeping bag but not the best quality products used in creating it This sleeping bag is alright but has some shoddy design and quality issues in the goods used to create it. The zipper is terrible and snapped without even getting stuck which was rather annoying considering I bought a Teton Sport 0 degree bag that has the hardiness of a cartwright jacket. Best zipper lower degree bag and way better quality for the same price. April 16, 2013
Extra wide is barely wide enough I am a 6' 200 lb male that thought that I was getting the perfect sleeping bag when I purchased this one. The extra wide feature lead me to believe that this bag would be perfect for my size. On a recent camping trip, I almost gave up sleeping in it as it was so tight that I barely made it it. Once in, I felt almost claustrophobic it was so tight. It was true to its name...I really felt like a mummy must! I would recommend this sleeping bag for a smaller person. February 20, 2013
kept me warm at the boy scout winter Klondike camporee I purchased this sleeping bag for the Boy Sout camping trip in January. It was Cold and rainy but I slept with no problem. I was warm and dry!. Best purchase I could have ever made! I'm hoping for snow next year!!! January 16, 2013
Zipper broke in 29" temperature Zipper broke in 29"temperatures.At least I receive my polar bear patch for Boy Scout . January 15, 2013
It's okay Unfortunately all the seams are cheaply made - the zipper came off the sleeping bag and the front seam came apart so I could see the lining. Disappointing, but since I know how to sew, not a problem. I sewed it up, and now is keeps me nice and warm. So only buy if if you want to fix it. Now that it's fixed though, I anticipate many happy years with it November 29, 2012
Bad buy This sleeping bag was in my budget, so decided to try it. First off, I am 5'4" and weigh 140 lbs. This sleeping bag was barely big enough for me. My toes were scrunched into the bottom if the mummy hood was cinched at all. And the torso portion of the bag hit several inches below my shoulders. Leaving my entire face, neck, and collarbone exposed. If I REALLY worked at it, or had assistance, I could close the hood so that only my face was exposed, but it still just wasn't the right fit. I decided to give it a try anyway. We went camping in mid 30 degree weather, and I was freezing all night long, with a liner helping to add to the warmth, and a pad under the bag. The second night in I decided to wrap my bag in an old rectangular bag I had brought as back up. With both, I was warm enough. But as I tried to settle in, The zipper on this bag got stuck. No warning, just completely jammed. By the time I woke up in the morning the zipper was open on both sides of where it had jammed, and still won't move. I will definitely be returning this bag, and never purchase one of F&S products again. November 25, 2012
Satisfied Customer I've never had a mummy sleeping bag and even though I didn't go full-mummy on my camping trip, it kept me nice and warm while in the mountains. And I like the material it is made out of because I can't stand the feel of the flannel bags. Very good sleeping bag! November 6, 2012
This product left me hanging out in the cold. The bag was supposed to be extra wide, I guess not wide enough. The zipper broke half- way threw the night. October 30, 2012
Warm & cozy Great sleeping bag & even better since I got in on sale! It's my first time w/ a cocoon head, which makes moving around difficult. I wiggle a lot and it unzipped, but if you lay still it's very warm. I love how easy it is to put away, since no folding is necessary & it comes w/ a bag to put it in. Overall, great bag & easy to use. October 25, 2012
Left me out in the cold Took this on a week adventure up the Appalachian Trail. Was early October, so the weather dipped into the 40s at night. Every night I woke up cold, and eventually by night 6 the zipper completely came off the mummy bag. Ill be getting my money back on this product. October 17, 2012
