Rated 5 out of 5áby Best Choice for the $ Bought two for my wife and I. I'm 6'6" tall and 235 lbs. and the ride is quite comfortable. We have taken them out to three different lakes and Floyd's Fork in the Louisville area and have had a great time. Fishing is also very convenient from these. I wouldn't change a thing, great outdoor activity for the wife and I to do together. We looked at much more expensive ones, but these settled right into our budget. Very satisfied! November 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Awesome Kayak Bought two for me and my wife for ocean cruising. Best kayaks we've owned. Very stable, tons of room, easy to operate. I highly recommend this kayak. July 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Bravo!!! I was saving my money to buy a Jackson. So glad I didn't! Not that they're not great kayaks, because they are, however this kayak is just as great, in my opinion, at a fraction of the price! Comfortable seating and extremely smooth riding! I love to hang my legs off in the water and throw water upon my arms when it's hot. This kayak is the perfect height for this. This is the best kayak Dicks sells, or any other big sporting goods store. Oh, and another pro, the mold is one solid piece! Bravo, bravo, bravo! Buy will NOT be disappointed! July 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Love this kayak I brought my kayak over a year ago and still love it. We are able to carry our cooler and floats on this kayak with no problem. I love this one so much we are going to get another one for my husband to use. I love how it sits high off the water and have room to move around. I would recommend this kayak to anyone. Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Yak, very roomy and stable!!! This is my second kayak, and I love everything abut it. The molded seat is very comfortable, my first trip out on it was over 4hrs with no back pain. The molded grips are great, never have to worry about straps breaking when pulling it out of the water. I have taken it on the lake and the Yellow river in Georgia, over some class 1 and 2 with no worries, in fact I feel so stable in this yak that I look for the biggest drops when I'm out on the river. I tipped myself out one time just to see how easy it is to get back into in deep water, I got back in on the first try. Buy this kayak if you are looking for a great S.O.T. July 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent Value My boyfriend was researching kayaks for fishing inshore/rivers without breaking the bank. He wound up purchasing this one and instantly loved it. After I tested his out in the pool, I loved it so much I decided to get myself one as well. It is extremely stable. I sat on the edge of it with my feet in the water and did not tip over. We went out off the Sebastian River and despite a current and wake from boats, we never felt unstable. There is plenty of room for storage and a dry bag which really works. We mounted fishing pole holders on them, which was an easy install as well. It sits high up off the water and keeps you dry (save water from the paddles). I highly recommend this one, for the price-there's really nothing else that compares. June 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Kayak is great - just what I wanted Spent much time reviewing Kayaks online. Wanted single sit on top kayak that was light but had good tracking - longer ones are generally better. This is just on the limit of weight I want to lift onto a car or van roof. Ordering was messy though. I waited until the annual kayak sale in Dick's this May. My local store did not have this model so I asked them to have it shipped in from another store. Sure but it costs about $250 shipping!!! I decided to purchase online and drive to a store - the nearest two were about 50 miles away and eventually picked it up by making a side trip on my way to the Shore. The online system showing which models are available at which stores does not seem to be updated regularly enough because my store called a store nearby which said they no longer had it although the system online showed it was in stock. Also this particular model seems to be no longer in Producion (based on Manufacturer's website) - that information would be helpful to know in advance. Dick's staff all very helpful but their stocking system is failing them! June 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby Perceptioin Access 115 Kayak This is our first kayak purchase but one made with a lot of research. We bought two. They arrived quickly which was unexpected. Could not find them in any store within 250 miles of us. Would have purchased in store if we could have. These kayaks are roomy and comfortable. So far we're very pleased. May 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby Very Good General Kayak with stability I was looking for a general use Kayak, flat water and some light white water and found this one to meet the bill. Immediately, I put in at a local reservoir and paddled up numerous creeks for two days. This is a stable kayak and very comfortable. My only concern is with the dry well when you can stash your water sensitive belongings. It doesn't appear to seal tightly and if swamped, I'm not sure my belongings would be protected. Also, when the dry well is removed, the inner chamber is compromised and could fill with water. Hasn't happened yet but it is an observation about a potential issue with the design. I will probably get a hard liner of some kind to protect the inner chamber of the boat from water. May 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby 1st Kayak and Very Happy This is my first Kayak and I purchased it after sorting through everyone else's reviews online first. It is very stable and I have no fear using it ( I like my legs being out in the open instead of trapped in the closed kayaks) This kayak is very long but somewhat lightweight for it's size. The only downfall I kind of had but not really , is that when kayaking in the group, mine wasn't as quick as the others, and the paddle I bought wasn't long enough. (I also signed up for dick's email , got a 10% online coupon, then purchased my Kayak online- but selected pick up in store - so I saved $50) April 4, 2015
