Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacquie Love this kayak Both me and my son love this kayak. It is light weight, meaning I can carry it myself (5'3" - 125lbs) and is perfect for our quiet lake. I have used it all summer and highly recommend it if you are looking for an easy lightweight kayak to use on a calmer lake. September 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hikndude Great kayak We bought two of these kayaks and love them already. They are easy to paddle and are fairly stable as well as light. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by MoDASH Great for a first kayak! Easy to get in and out of. A little rocky but is easy to get used to. Like it a lot. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by KDK in IL Love at first paddle! Love it! Been looking for a kayak for a while - saw this on sale over the weekend - purchased the last one at the store. Threw her in the back of the jeep and couldn't wait to get on the water. For the price, this model has all the features I need. At 28 lbs, very easy to handle. Has plenty of room for me (5' 4" and 135lb), my fishing rod, fishing bag and a few water bottles. Steady and smooth, even fast, handled well on the lake on a calm day, we'll see how she does with a little more wind another day. No buyers remorse with this one at all! Sometimes you get so excited to buy something and then get it home and try it out and have the big let down. Not the case with this at all. I love it! I'm just a beginner, but can see that I am going to absolutely love spending quite a few hours on the lake. July 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by eugef Good for 8ft kayak This kayak is good buy if you specifically looking for 8ft kayak. Some reviewers are complaining that it's too short and unstable, which is the case if you compare it with 10+ft. So if you considering this kayak as you main adult kayak I would recommend to go for at least 10ft. My 9yo son feels comfortable in it and it fits into a trunk of my truck, so I don't have to buy roof rack. I put my (10ft) on the roof and this one in the trunk. Also it's very light, which was another plus for me. It's good enough for still lake paddling and recreational fun. DO NOT take it to whitewater. The plastic is thin and may crack easily on the rocks. July 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by NJGrandma Perfect for me! I wanted a small, simple kayak that I could use on lakes and this is ideal. I am a 5'1" , 105 lb, 66 year old woman and wanted to be able to handle a kayak by myself. This one weighs a whopping 26 lbs and is easy for me to lift and carry. I can slide it right into my Ford Escape with the front passenger seat reclined and one back seat folded down so I don't have to deal with roof racks. It's easy to get in and out of and seems quite stable in the water. There are absolutely no bells and whistles, but if, like me, you just want some peaceful and relaxing time on the water watching the birds and wildlife then this is perfect! July 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by River Rat great for exercise, exploration, and fishing This is a responsive, light weight kayak, but definitely not light weight in quality and value. It tracks better and moves faster than I expected. I'm a 62 years old, 130 lbs, and female, and I can carry it easily without assistance. It fits into my Toyota Camry station wagon and does not obstruct my rear-view or side-view mirrors. I've been able to fish fairly comfortably in the Delaware River - adding clip rigs and bungee cords is a good idea in terms of holding fishing poles and a paddle. At 5' 9", it provides me with sufficient & comfortable leg room. I may decide to add foot braces - not sure yet. It's an awesome kayak; I named mine, "Little Blue". June 19, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lake Girl Good Kayak for Kids We just purchased this kayak for our kids ages 8 and 11. It is very easy to transport. My husband had no problem putting the kayak in the back of his truck and can easily carry it. The kids love paddling around the lake in this kayak. It is quite easy to maneuver. It is a bit slower than a longer kayak but overall for the price it's a good buy. June 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Carpe Piscis Great yak for a smaller person Bought this for my (large) 8 year old son. It took him all of about 5 minutes, without instruction, to be off and running like a pro. Easy to paddle, even easier to transport at under 30 pounds, it's just a great little boat. He has no problem keeping up with the rest of the family. Would have been nice if it had some storage, but at this price point, I'm not going to complain. June 3, 2014
