JUNK
This is junk...I had a 10x10 quest that was screwed to my pool deck for shade that lasted 3 years and even survived hurrican Irene so I replaced it with the same make but 12x12 and it didn't last 1 week...The first time it rained overnight I woke up to a twisted mangle of mess. 2 of the legs bent so bad that it wouldn't even close. I don't think they make these out of metal anymore. I am now out 150.00. Never again.

Windy weekend camping winner!
I purchased this canopy for a recent weekend camping trip. It was on sale for $139 and I had my heart set on the blue one as it matches my tent. The only one in the store had a small tear carrying case but no obvious damage to the canopy. They did not have another blue one in stock and we needed it for the coming weekend, so they gladly knocked $20 off the sale price.
It was up in less than 6 minutes with three people (four would have cut that time in half) and withstood up to 40 mile per hour winds all weekend long. While it is only water resistant, it rained pretty heavily the first day and while some rain seeped through, it merely rolled down the inside of the canopy and didn't collect or drip. I absolutely love it!

Quest 12x12 Dome Canopy truly 12x12 - But No Bug Screen!?!
I've had a number of different 12x12 canopies anchored to a protected concrete patio over the years and they gradually become worn or damaged by severe weather. This Quest 12x12 dome canopy is actually larger than others yet the structural members are very similar in size to the prior models so I'm concerned about it's durability. Time will tell.
However, a major drawback is the fact that Quest does not offer the bug screen side walls for this canopy! Apparently an aftermarket screen enclosure is also not available. If you are not looking to add a bug screen or side walls this is a nice sizable unit.
But really... No Bug Screen!! What's up with that? Come on Quest, most of us have bugs to contend with. You make one and I'll buy one. For this reason alone I'll have to get a different 12x12 canopy with a bug screen option, which Quest doesn't offer!

Too Flimsy
In fairness to Dicks I can only blame myself for what happend but it did show me how flimsy this product really is;
My wife and I had just set the tent up but did not anchor it (my mistake) out of nowhere comes some wind picks the tent up and launches it 40 to 50 feet from where we had set it up. The damage; 3 of 4 legs totally damaged to the point where we are unable to fold it up and store it, the tarp portion has serveral rips/tears in it but we think we can repair that to a usable point. All said and done the tent is usable but like I said we can never fold it, kind of a drag, not even a week old...

Easy to put up and down, takes like 5 minutes
Easy to put up and take down. Friends use them for camping and they love it

Poor quality
Went through 2 of these, each destroyed by medium winds, although staked and roped as designed. I believe it is just too much square footage of canopy for the strength of the frame. Its the same diameter framing used on the smaller units. Fortunately I had purchase the warrenty on these units.

Flimsy
I just put it together but I can already tell that it won't last a year. The first advice I would give you is not to tie up the Velcro before you completely pop it up or it would tear them up. As you will see, they're poorly attached to the plastic and they come off leaving nasty holes. Then, make sure is completely extended and all of the frame is fully extended on top before you lift the legs all the way up or you will have a hard time. The manual is useless! Even with the little inconveniences, it took us about 35 to completely set it up. However, you must have at least 2 people to set it up and a lader to tie up the Velcro at the top. Once set up, it is very spacious inside and very high, which is nice. You should anchor it with weights rather than the little anchors that come with this tent. I haven't tried it with high winds or rain but I think it would hold up until cats tear it.

Wrong color
I have not set the product up yet but will most likely be trying to make an exchange because the wrong color canopy was delivered. I ordered it online and my receipt showed I ordered a Khaki colored canopy and so did the delivery slip once i received the product. But......when I opened it up, the canopy was blue! how does that happen?????? Now I have to lug the thing back to the store and try to make an exchange. How annoying!!

Product fine, shipping ok
I own two of these already and they work great. Dick's shipped this as quick as possible, but they shipped it with the cover on the outside of the box, and it was ripped during shipping. I had to return it to the store which was kind of a pain since I had to get a gift card to purchase a new one and wait for that to be shipped and then return to the store to get a credit for the difference in price.
