Don't be fooled
You may think this is a graphite racquet because it doesn't appear to have a separate throat piece. It is not. It is aluminum just like the other smaller cheap junior racquets. They filled in the joints with some sort of material to make it appear as a solid racquet. I always thought it felt terrible when I would demonstrate with it for my son and now I know why. I discovered this because the material cracked at the throat. At first I thought the graphite cracked but I noticed where the paint has been worn away that the material is aluminum.

Purchase racquet to introduce daughter to tennis. The racquet performed well. It is light, easy to swing.
