Wilson HYPERion 7.0 Tennis Racquet 4.2 5 18 18
Great tennis racket, with good control and power This racquet worked absolutely amazing when I hit the court. It has lots of power with the lightweight and you get to put lots of spin and control with this Hyperion line. With feel is great, but I would recommend putting a vibration dampened on, and also this would be great for 3.0 to open level players. I would recommend this for people looking for action, and wanting to get extra pop on your serve with the 27.25 length. Great all around racquet December 2, 2013
Good Racquet with a few downsides Well I bought the racquet a year ago when I was not an experienced player yet. It handles great and you get a lot of power with flat shots. I did lots of practice over the year and all my shots developed an excess of spin. For some reason the racquet stopped giving me power once I started hitting with a lot of spin. About a month ago it started to rattle inside which really concerned me since one of my friends had a similar problem with his racquet that later snapped during an over head nearly injuring his eye. I feared that would happen to me as well so I recently replaced it. I have to say it is an exceptional racquet for those that do not hit with much spin but it is flimsy as many other comments have also reflected. Depending on the level of the player it can either enhance your game or dampen it. It is definitely not for 4.0+ players, but for beginners I would definitely recommend it. I hope this was helpful! Great racket ! This is a great buy. I wasn't sure at first what I was going to get, but I do enjoy Wilson and this Hyperion 7.0 is awesome! I wish the price would be a little less but definitely worth the buy. April 17, 2013
Amazing! Last year I bought this product and it still works like I just bought it. It is light, very powerful, and great for playing both doubles and singles. I love it!! January 8, 2013
Stand Back Great racquet! Well balanced and easy to rotate in your hand so changing from backhand to forehand grip is fluid. You'll notice a significant increase in the speed and accuracy of your serve. Half court volleys are more powerful and control at the net improves. It won't do everything. If you take your eyes off the ball, just like any other racquet, it can rapidly feel like a 2x4. I've enjoyed playing with it for the last month or so. December 23, 2012
great racket My tennis rackets were stolen from my car, so I needed to buy some new rackets. However, I did not want to spend a whole lot of money b/c I needed to buy 4 rackets for the family. When I first picked up this racket, the first thing I noticed was that it had great balance for swinging and it was light weight. Finally I decided to buy it. I used to be a 3.5 player. I really love this racket. This is the best racket I have ever used. I like the light weight of the racket b/c when I play the net, it allows me to move my racket more quickly. I have always loved play with hypercarbon. This racket advertises Power and Control; it has great power and control. I was most concerned with the control, I was pleasantly surprised. I paid $99 for a racket that plays like $180 racket. Hope you will have a wonderful time with this hyper carbon! November 10, 2012
Frame I had this racquet since about March and I loved it. It has been my favorite racquet but in the last week I hit a ball an the frame snapped leaving me without a racquet. Too pricey, but I loved playing with it. September 29, 2012
