This product has good features. I haven't caught a fish yet but each time I cast it, it gets a birds nest. Any ideas on witch line I should put on it? January 7, 2013
Locked up reeving string first time. I bought the reel and took home and started reeling new string but the spooler locked up and reel will not turn. Will be returning to store ASAP. I would not recommend buying. December 11, 2012

GOOD ROD relly durable rod and reel first fish with it was 30lb yellow cat. took it to the coast and landed a 7ft bullshark with 80lb braided line. September 13, 2012
Rod broke when reeling in the first fish I guess you get what you pay for. Usually in a combo rig either the rod or reel is decent, in this case neither was true. On first fish we caught the rod broke and we weren't able to fish with it the remainder of the day. September 10, 2012
