Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Everything u need Pros: This dual kayak holder it excellent. All u need is a roof rack and cross bars and ur ready. It comes with all the straps and tie downs u will need for both kayaks. This was my first time with transporting kayaks. It was easy to set up and use. The directions are pretty easy to follow. Cons: It could grip round cross bars of the roof rack better is my only minor gripe. All tho after the kayaks are tied down nothing moved or shifted everything stayed tight. April 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by It works! This product works great for two kayaks. I have a Nissan Xterra and the cross bars were a little too big for the product, but I just had to go buy bigger bolts and it worked perfectly. I would highly recommended this product to anyone! March 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product....excellent price Both our kayaks fit perfectly on top of our SUV. My teenage sons put it all together. Easy to assemble and easy to use. January 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works as designed, holds 2 kayaks very well in place easy to install once assembled. December 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stax Worked as Advertised Our Stax has so far made a 1000 trip and had no problems. The only issue that kept it from getting 5 stars is the number of straps that need to be used and the necessity to remove them every time the kayaks are down and the posts are folded down. I don't have a solution to recommend, but it is a hassle to remove and rethread them November 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Two kayak rack is perfect. The two kayak rack is a quality made carrier and easy to install. July 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice little stacker. I bought this Kayak Stacker as a first-time kayaker/kayak-transport officer. I bought the Malone crossbars as well. They are super easy to attach and use. The straps are a little bit challenging to throw over the kayaks especially if you have an SUV-type car. I have a Jeep Patriot... my solution was to buy a $10 folding step stool from the <department store of your choice>. At that same store, I bought a $15 set of ratchet straps for the bow and stern tie-down part of the show. The foam blocks not only cushion the kayaks, but also act as sort of an anti-slip prop when you go to load up... especially in windy conditions. If you are afraid of them getting ripped off while you're on the water, you can take off the crossbars/stackers all as one piece and stow them in your car in 5 minutes... and that's if you take your sweet time about it. Price? WAY less expensive than just about anything Thule or Yakima sells. Highly recommend this stacker... July 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great two kayak rack at reasonable price Good rack system. Simple design but it works. How you strap the kayaks down is key. Make sure you look at instructions. I don't use the front hooks only the front rear and middle safety strap. I did have one issue with the bolt sizes though. My 2007 Nissan Xterra has larger tube/oval crossmembers that the longer bolts barely made it around. I went to the hardware store and bought bolts that were 10mm longer in order to feel confident with the amount of thread left on the bolt. June 28, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Difficult instructions on putting it together. I found the rack to be useful although I thought the directions were a bit difficult to follow. And we really had to experiment with the strapping before we put it to use for a long trip. November 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great concept; excellent execution This arrived very quickly and was super easy to install. I holds two kayaks on our 2012 Civic very well and after a quick run through is very easy to mount quickly, and stores very easily. Big thumbs up on this one. October 7, 2013
