Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy and secure Bought the 50" rails for my 2015 Rogue and using the included spacers, they are a perfect fit. Rails feel very tight and secure. Steal bars are strong and rubber coating doesn't scratch up my kayak (like the first set of cheaper rails I bought that had to be returned for that reason). Easy to install and remove with the turn of the supplied Allen wrench. Notice a slight "hum" from the wind Without the kayak - after 45 mph, however No Sound at all With the kayak strapped on the rails -getting just over 60mph. Theft resistant Locks completely detach from the bracket so keep them close by. If you are constantly removing and installing, I would suggest marking guide lines near the brackets so you don't waste time centering the rails over the car each time. Great quality and gets the job done. July 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Useable Have found no problems. Rides well, little or no noise. May 19, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very Noisy Easy to install and structurally OK. However, the noise level is extremely high due to the small openings at the mount locations that create a whistling noise that even the radio does not drown out. Had to use closed cell foam and pack it in tight to reduce the noise. Product should have a foam/neoprene sealing block that can be trimmed to fit for all sized rails. October 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by very sturdy I found these cross rails to very sturdy and connects to the SUV rails very well. I was concerned because I am carrying a 2 person kayak connected to them. My only issue is the Allen wrench used to tighten it up the rails is very awkward to use. I will have to get one on a screw driver handle. September 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Malone universal cross rail Easy to install and good quality at a fraction of the price of many other cross rails systems. An excellent value. September 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very easy to install I installed these on a 2015 Chevrolet Trax. I was able to do it by myself and it took about 15 minutes. August 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing product, service this was so easy to put on my car it took maybe 5 minutes. Also fast shipping from Dick's would recommend. The cross bars are made well very sturdy and sure beats dealer pricing. July 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product After much searching I came across this rack. It is perfect! The cost was great compared to what the dealer wanted for the same thing. I would reccomend this Malone roof rack to everyone. No problem fitting on my Kia Sportage!! Great product July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent value these racks are built as well as the $400 systems. I have an 08 escape and went to the dealer to test out a yakima rack but couldn't justify the extreme price to carry a canoe I paid less than that. the malone system is built just as rugged and easy to use. you will only need the manual if you have a hole in the head June 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by couldn't be easier The little things make the difference: 1) The instructions are large, clear, and written by someone who actually speaks English!! 2) The unit wasn't over-packaged. Not tons of styrofoam or other in the box ... just a well-designed cardboard box. January 23, 2013
