Great product, very impressed
I was pleasantly suprized by the quality considering the price. The burners are big and heated large pots of water quickly. It is easy to connect to the bottle.
I really like that I was able to take normal kitchen pots and pans and they fit great.
Fitting the legs back in the bag is a bit tricky and I still use the original box because there isn't a convenient way to carry the system.
It travels well in the box.
I wish Dicks sold the accessories that are on the box.

Camp Chef
Outstanding product and best price on the internet for purchasing is from Dick's Sporting Goods. Shipping was FAST! Would highly recommend you research your product(s) on line...then buy from Dick's. They are awesome! And...NO...I don't work for them...or own stock in their company. I look for a certain product...do the research...then buy from the best out there...this one happened to be from Dick's.

Great for long campouts
Makes cooking much easier for family/group campouts over 2 days or so. Use it in Scouting as well and works great for the patrol method.

Great Large cooking area
I needed 2 large burners to cook outdoors for 100 people. This product was perfect for my needs. Held a large Wok and a 16 qt. pot of dirty rice with ease. Second use was for an old fashion backyard seafood boil. This time 1 HUGE pot on both burners. Held up the weight without a problem. Great investment on my part.

Excellenr product
I have one of these that I purchased over 6-7 years ago. It continues to work great.
I have had no pxs. with the stove. I have recommended the same stove to friends and I know 3 have been bought on my recommendation. Easy to set up and take down. Cooks well w/ all types of pans and pots, especially cast iron. We use it camping every summer (2-3 times per month) and I use it at home on a regular basis.
Question: I am not quite sure what is meant by the earlier review stating" hook it to the tree on top of the propane tank"--what exactly does that mean?

camp chef stove
This stove rocks, you hook it to the tree that sits on a large propane tank , you put a lantern on top and you have a kitchen in the wilderness. This will heat any size pot to boiling in no time. I bought this on sale for $99.00 plus 20 dollars off and free shipping. wow what a deal.

Best Camp Stove
The old green suitcase stoves do not get my cast iron skillet hot enough for cooking steaks/chicken. If your not cooking steaks then old green would be OK.

An awesome stove!
I bought this stove to replace the old "pump up" variety 9 years ago. I have used and abused it a great deal and it is still in like new condition. It is a great camp stove but I also use it at home for those house stinking recipes! It is nearly indestructible! The cast iron burners do not wear and the controls and knobs still work perfectly. I believe this is the last stove I ever had to buy. The stove breaks down to a very small size for transport, sets up easily and and is extrememly sturdy. It is a bit heavy but is well worth its weight. I would highly recommend this stove for any camper or outdoorsman.
