This girdle is pretty good as it does a good job protecting and taking blows. however i had a scrimmage today for football and I got a hip pointer while making a tackle. Very painful injury. After examining my girdle i realized that the girdle does not cover your hip bone at all and leaves it fully exposed, leading to injuries like mine today. You can get away with wearing this girdle as long as you strap some hip pads into your pants, even though these girdles that are being sold these days are supposed to replace all upper leg and waist padding

We use these pads for Lacrosse. My son is a goalie. These pads are light, washable, and save your thighs many bruises. They are great.

I bought this at the beginning of my football season thinking it would be great. I was so wrong! This thing is garbage i mine as well have had no pads at all. All of the pads are about 1/4 inch of cheap foam that didn't even protect me. I am a defensive lineman so I get double teamed a lot and one time i got put on my back really hard and it felt like I didn't even have a tail bone pad at all. The pain was terrible. Also the whole girdle would shift to the left whenever I practiced leaving my left thigh completely unprotected. Spend the extra cash and get something better like Nike. Most of my friends had Nike's and I never heard them complain. Save your money and buy something better!
