Rated 4 out of 5 by Kynor Just as described! Fits well, is cool and the back clears my kayak seat thumbs up! August 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Kirkley Nice PFD I have not used it yet but it fits well. There is confusion in the description on a small lure case included which I did not get. The Dicks description does not mention it but the you tube video for the jacket does. Not a big deal really. This appear very well made. I can't wait to go kayaking in it. April 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by PrimalM Floating is better than sinking I was a little surprised at how expensive life vests have become. Even the simple, square, throwable floatation devices are over $10 now. Since I got a special on-line discount for combining purchases, I guess I got a good deal on this one. The only thing I wish that these vests had is a removable fresh water bag like a camelback. Rated 4 out of 5 by glad2bkayaking Love it - well thought out design. I'm very pleased with this vest. It fits great. Easy to move (paddle) with. The pockets are spacious and the pin retractor attachment point is a nice touch. Only downside was it shipped without the small tackle box (this kept it from getting 5 stars). October 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by kayakguy Good value life vest This vest was a higher end vest that I puchased because of the discount associated with the Kayak purchase. It has ample pockets for cell phone, GPS, fishing tackle box etc and has attachment points for whistles and pin on items. Its very comfortable to wear for extended periods on the water. July 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Kyle Lots of features but they come at a price While I like this PFD it wasn't cheap at around $90. I like the storage pockets and things like that but the small tackle box that comes with it is really small which would be fine for fresh water I would think but I fish salt so it'll probably hold some sinkers and swivels for me but not much in the way of lures. Also because of the oval front I do rub my arms on it a bit while paddling but that could also be chalked up to the fact that I'm a fairly big guy and I purchased the vest a size bigger than needed so I will be able to use it in winter when I have more clothing underneath. Luckily I have not had to use this yet to keep me afloat but I'm sure it will do that fine. The vest is overall very comfortable though and it's designed well to not be uncomfortable while paddling. I would just recommend trying it on and if possible sitting in a yak with it and making some paddling motions to see if your arms rub as well, sized right and adjusted properly though I don't think that will be an issue. Rated 4 out of 5 by Brian B. Pricey Love the vest. You have freedom of movement weather kayaking or fly fishing. LOVE the drop down pocket tray! Very handy. However, the cost is a bit much for what it is. Other than that I think this vest if perfect for fly fishing/kayaking. May 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Al Well constructed I?m 6?1?? and around 218 lbs. and this vest fits very comfortably. I haven?t done any paddling yet (everything is frozen) but I have sat in my kayak to see how the vest feels against my high back seat. I think this will be one of those vest that you forget you?re wearing. Seems well make constructed and the pockets are nicely laid out. Can?t wait to get out on the water?. Bring on spring!
