Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by these broad heads are the very best I have been bow hunting for over 35 years and as you can imagne I started out with wooden arrows and simple spade tips .I have stayed up with the new equipment and I have tried many new broad heads over the years these are by far the very best I have ever had. The proof is in the pudding I shot 7 deer (doe) this year and recovered 6 of them with in 100 yards .I have never had this type of success and it is because of the broad heads no doubt .The holes they put in the deer are huge ,they cannot recover ( even with out great shots which happened more then once ) I will not shoot anything else .I wish I had them when I started out .`if they are a few dollars more they are worth the money . Rated 5 out of 5 by Best broadhead I've ever used!!!!!! These are by far the most accurate and most devistating broadhead I have ever used! I shot a buck at 20 yards, quartered away, and the arrow passed all the way through, landing about 7 or 8 yards on the other side. The blood trail was unreal! It looked like someone had taken a five gallon bucket of red paint and poored a trail accross the ground. The buck was less that 30 yards from where I shot him and the hole that was in him looked like you could throw a baseball through it. If you dont want to loose any more deer, then I recomend switching to these. I gave all the other broadheads that I had to a friend that wanted them because I will not use anything except for the Rage X-treme from now on. January 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Deadly to game After reading other reviews of Rage broadheads it seems either you love or hate them. I have only have excelent experiences using Rage broadheads and cannot wait to unleash a Rage X-Treme on a buck this season. The biggest complaints I heard about Rage broadheads is poor penetration and the blades opening too easily. I believe that poor penetration is due to todays bows being touting speed and only light arrows accomplish the high speeds. Of course you are going to get poor penetration if you shoot toothpicks compared to shooting telephone poles. I have only had good experiences when I had good shot placement, but just with any other broadhead poor placement usually results in a poor result. With the Rage X-Treme broadheads i have had no problems with the blades opening easily. I have had problems with other Rage broadheads opening, but with the new plastic retainer instead of a o-ring they stay closed no matter how much I shake or bump them. The only problem with the plastic retainer is that they break after each shot, as the are suppose to, and you need to carry extra with you when ever you go out hunting. I would recomend the Rage X-Treme broadhead to anyone that is looking for an exclent broadhead that is shooting a heavier arrow and a bow with the recomended 60 pound or higher draw weight. And finally, remember you are shoting an arrow not a bullet, bone can deflect an arrow on a perfectly placed arrow. September 29, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by reveiw i love the rage broadheads no no end, but the only problem that i have is that, once i bought these i cant shot them because they are recommened for bows of 60# or more any less they will not perform as they say.i had to call the company just to find that out.the other thing is they use a plastic thing to keep the blades shut so once u shoot it thats it until u get more plastic things.... do the reserch be fore u buy this........ Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST HEADS EVER! These heads are sick! Entrance and exit holes are huuuge! The new black plastic retainer is a much improved design to hold the blades...they no longer pop out, and it can be turned and re-used a few times! I've used these on both my bow and crossbow - both fly like the field points, and both have put a hurtin' on the deer I crushed. Every deer shot with these have gone less than 50 yards, and my blind grandma could follow the blood trails! After passing through a deer, a head was burried about a half foot into the ground. After removing and cleaning, it looks brand new! First time i've ever not had to toss a broadhead after shooting a deer! (although just to be safe i'll use it for practice only - but it's a testament to how tough these heads can be). Highly recommend these broadheads! I don't think you'll be dissappointed. Just remember - with any breadhead setup - hit them in the right spot and you'll have success! G'luck! October 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible The most devastating broadhead I have ever used, and ive been bowhunting for 36 years October 16, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the money I have always used rage broadheads. This year I decided to go with the Extrem because of the plastic ring that hold the broad heads in. This past September I shot a nice 12 point. I put a text book shoot on this buck. The broad head did not open up. After tracking this buck for 2 days I lost all sight of blood and the deer. Rated 1 out of 5 by Extreemly poor This boradhead will really enrage you to the extreemes! I missed one deer and two bucks three times with it from 12 yards of distance only! You can imagine how humiliating and frustrating that can be.I am returning them today! October 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This broadhead leaves an awesome blood trail I took a red stag a mouflon sheep and a whitetail last year and all of them didn't even go 80 yards. Best blood trail I have ever seen with a broadhead. March 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rag extreme 100g broad heads Very good broad head flies like a field point. Huge wound!! Good value but it could be a little cheaper. December 14, 2014
