Nice price, poor quality. Rod broke setting hook on bass, do not know about return policy on this product..

This combo is easy to cast and has a smooth retrieve. The balance is good also.

I love this combo
I've only used this rod a few times but I am very Impressed so far still a little cold right now will holler back in about a month cant wait to hook into one and see how she handles

Great package

A fantastic combination
I purchased this rod & reel combination on a whim - and I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised at the quality, action and attention to detail this combo has. Without going into a long-winded "advertisement", I would highly recommend this setup fort any serious small mouth bass fisherman. Rod is stiff but forgiving. Plenty of butt strength. No visual defects with windings, line guides or finish. Holds reel securely. The reel is smooth & noise free. Bail operates flawlessly. Drag adjustment is a wee bit temperamental, but that is to be expected until the reel is broken in.
Seriously - I really DO like this rod & reel combination. I think you would too.

I would buy this product again
I fish everyday rain or shine. I fish primarily for bass largemouth and smallies. I fish from shore most often, see a pond fish the pond. I really like this set up. Great action on the rod and I can feel everything that's going on. The reel, ehh. It is good don't get me wrong, as it does perform as it should for what it is. I do feel that I will be upgrading the reel to the Abu Garcia Ora S though. It casts great, the retreive is the perfect speed. I would buy this combo again in a second.

Very nice
I'm a bass fisherman and I love this combo. It has a solid backbone for a medium action rod, the reel is very smooth. It's very light and has a great feel. Overall I'm very very satisfied!!

Excelent combo.
Rod has good action for Bass. I have had great results using the combo as a worm rig.Pin point accuracy and good backbone too set the hook !!
