Good stable tender in light winds
This is not a bad boat. Using a Honda 5HP, you won't be able to get this boat on plane with two people. I was able to put it on plane solo with a tiller extension, which puts you on the center bench (or slightly beyond). Its a quiet nice little ride in light winds. In light winds, at a stop, it is very stable, with hardly a sway when moving side to side. I think it would make a good boat to work out of if you needed to make repairs to lake dock. In 10 mph plus winds, it is doesn't perform well. No matter what trim, I couldn't get enough speed to plane up and was getting drenched in the process. I felt I came close to swamping the bow in white capped waves. It cut through the them like a bucket, very poorly.

nice boat - long time in coming
It will be used as a row boat (for exercise) and aboat with small (4 HP) outboard and as a tender for the power boat on the buoy. It seems to be a sturdy well made boat. The oar locks seem a bit too far back for rowing from the middle seat, but we can always add an additional set of oar locks if we find it is needed. Shipping was promised in 6-7 days, but it took 15 days after it was charged to the credit card, with no apologies from Dicks for the delay
