The Thule® Trailway 4-Bike Hitch Rack provides multiple frame spots for you and your fellow cycling enthusiasts. This car rack fits both 1 ¼" and 2" receivers with the included adaptor. Easy to install and sturdy!
Love this rack so far. Very easy to install. Loading with 4 bikes is a bit of a game of Tetris but once they are on, they are very secure. No sway felt when driving.
Rack tilts far enough away from the back to get the hatch open with room to spare.

Nice Rack!
I got the quality I would expect from Thule. Assembly was easy. I will say that the rack is made for 4 bikes, but I barely got 3 on it. I have only done that once, so maybe I did something wrong, but I did flip the bikes as I put them on. For the first time I felt comfortable putting my bike on the back of a car and not have to worry about it falling off. That has happened before and trashed a relatively brand new bike going 70 MPHs down the highway.
As for customer service I am very pleased that I bought it Dicks Sporting Goods. I bought the rack and a week later I was in the store and saw that it was down $50. The cashier was able to pull my past purchases up using my Dick's reward card. She gave me the credit for the difference. That to me is impressive and why I shop at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Adequate Bike Rack
Is an adequate bike rack, but not exceptional. Purchased for a 2012 Jeep Wragler and discovered that you still cannot open the rear door (even with the arm lowered) as the spare tire will not clear the rack.
The biggest issue I have with the unit is the hitch attachment. It attaches to the hitch on your vehicle with a bolt and not a hitch pin (preferrably a locking hitch pin). So anyone with a pair of pliers can remove the hitch from your vehicle in about 1-minute. You can put a locking chain to help prevent this, but its a very poor design. I ended up purchasing an extended lock (literaly a padlock) and using it plus a locking chain.

Great bike rack!
The Thule Trailway 4-Bike Hitch Rack is easy to use and substantial in quality! I had a trailer hitch installed on my car, and this bike rack fit perfectly! I needed a bike rack that would tilt away from the car so I could open the hatch if necessary, and this one works great. Also, the arm that the bikes rest on tilts down so you can keep it on the car without the bikes in the tilted down position if necessary. Definitely a great value for the price!

Worth the Cost
The rack seems to be very well made and sturdy. It is easy to assemble. The tilt down feature provides decent access to the trunk for routine loading/unloading of other items.

Fits well and secure
The bike rack works well for four bikes and is a sturdy construction. Pretty heavy, but that is needed to keep everything secure. Was exactly what I was looking for. Previously I had to lay down three bikes in the back of my Explorer. This rack takes a bit of time to put on and remove, so it doesn't really save time, but it allows me to carry one additional bike and avoid the damage from laying the bikes on top of each other in the back of the Explorer.

Thule 4 bike rack
I bought this rack to fit on the back of a Rav 4 that has tire on the back door. This rack fits great! Very sturdy, well made, easy to install and stabilizers work very well. Man's bike fits better than my smaller bike, but it works. Since the Rav 4 opens from the side, the tilt back feature only allows partial access to back of vehicle but so far that has not been a problem but would like to find a way to tilt it back further so we could open the door--it fits so well, we plan to leave it attached full time--easy to lock it to the vehicle. Good value.

Easy handling
Very impressed with the product. Easy to attach to hitch. Holds bikes with no problem. Sturdy construction. I would recommend.

Very sturdy bike rack
We bought this bike rack recently and put it on our SUV. It seemed very sturdy and safe for traveling. However, the weather changed before we had a chance to use it to take our bikes somewhere. While I'm confident that it will work well, I didn't give it top rating only because I haven't tested it on the road. While this rack is fairly pricey, we didn't see any other less expensive one that seemed to be as sturdy as this one.
