XENITH HELMET FITTING GUIDE:
- A properly fitted helmet is an important first step in player protection. To determine head size, wrap a cloth measuring tape around the circumference of the player's head. Measure approximately 1" above the player's eyebrows at the widest point. Record measurement and refer to chart below:
XENITH X2 YOUTH CUSTOM HELMET SIZE CHART:
- SMALL: Hat Size - 6-3/8" - 6-5/8"
- MEDIUM: Hat Size - 6-5/8" - 7-1/8"
- LARGE: Hat Size - 7-1/8" - 7-1/2"
- X-LARGE: Hat Size - 7-1/2" - 8"
- NOTE: If measurement falls between sizes, choose the smaller size or insert thicker comfort pads
CHECKING FOR A PROPER HELMET FIT:
- Interlock hands on top of helmet and press down - player should feel pressure on crown of their head, not their brow
- Skin of the forehead should move with the front pad
- Front of helmet should be about 1" above the eyebrows
- Jaw pads should feel firm against their face
- There should be no room for twisting
- To avoid injury or discomfort, never wear a helmet positioned too high or too low
ADJUSTING THE CHIN STRAP:
- Tighten all four straps evenly until secure and lock buckles into place
- Cup should be centered and snug over their chin
- Adjust chin strap until cup is firmly pressed against their chin
- When buckled, helmet should feel comfortable and snug

Yourh helmet
Wanted to have a helmet just like the unr football team. Now I need to find decals for it. Fits great. Had to take the hard chin strap off now it is more comfortable.

Excellent Youth Helmet
I waited until the end of the season to write this review. My 9 year old son had a great experience with this helmet. He had absolutley no problem putting the helmet on and taking it off. It doesn't pull on the ears like other helmets do. It took him about a week to get used to snapping it, because of the chinstrap integration into the helmet. He had no complaints after being hit a few times or about the helmet hurting his head. I would recommend this helmet to anyone playing youth football. Just have your son try it on in the store and compare it to the others.

Great helmet. our son had a bad fit with the team's helmet, which does not have adjustable inside pads.

Good Helmet
My son loves his helmet!! It seems to give him better protection although we have yet to use it in a game. Last year he had a traditional helmet and says this one is more comfortable and we were able to adjust the pads to give him a better fit.

wide face mask
when you get hit the other persons facemask sometimes gets stuck in yours and hits your head. other wise good buy

The kid loves it.
Fits like a glove. His league has excellent air helmets, but my son was in between sizes. So either you pump it up to much or you do not pump enough. Either way he was not happy. The safety bonnet made the fitting easy and stable. It does not change from day to day, it remains at the original adjustment.

Awesome youth helmet
Our youngest son uses this helmet with his youth football team. It fits perfectly. We never hear our son complaining about the helmet hurting his head or that it is too tight. Our son is 9 and has played since he was 5. This is by far the best youth helmet he has had.It is worth the investment to purchase your child his own helmet especially if the helmets at your football club are a little old or beat up or don't fit properly. Youth helmets are hard to find a great fit. The Xenith offers a near perfect fit. It was great that my local Dicks had some models to try on my son. After deciding on the size, custom ordering was easy. One small note. If your local Dicks does not have all the color options or face mask options, all you have to do is place the order from Dicks, then call Xenith customer service to get the options you need. It's really easy. We highly recommend this helmet.
