i just bought these and i am not happy at all i was using the practice head and it shoots great!!! i was really excited to try the real thing ,so i decided to try one of the real heads to see if it shot the same i shot this head four times in to my 3d archery target and the broad head came apart ,the little metal pin that slides back an fourth broke and the blades fell to the ground if i still had my recite i would definitely send them back ,so the only thing i could honestly say is the practice shot great .

killed my 8th deer today with one, 2.5 year old doe. I had to take a shot I was barley comftorble with it. it was a 40 yrd shot quartering almost exactly to me. the rason I took the shot was due to my mom in our wood hauler coming up the driveway (it is very loud) so I put my 40 yrd pin on and let it fly. she ducked into my shot and hit right on the shoulder. I saw my lumenock and I new I got poor penetration. I went back to my house for an hour and went back out to look for it. I didn't find any blood due to 1 hole. I was following tracks, she laid 80 yards dead. the hole was a nice clean hole that went through the shoulder and went through both lungs and poked a hole in the heart. this was my first time using this head on deer, and as I say with all mechanical, great doe head. I found the broadhead during gutting and it was in perfect shape. it also prolly helped I was using fmj arrows the are 10.2 grains an inch. it was a cut on impact. it didn't penetrate more than 9 inches put it got the job done.

Used the broadheads practicing with an instructor and they held up well. Looking forward to Deer season.

over all rating poor - weight of broadheads inconsistant with each other from pratice tips over by 6 grains to actual broadheads ranging from 8 - 12 grains over. None are the same weight. Other broadheads are much better in weight control. Rage no difference in weight after 4 packs bought and pratice tips weight is correct. G5 T3 broadheads also weigh as advertised too.

I love the NAP Spitfire original but these new Killzone's are the real deal. Shot a big 8 pointer at 15 yards with a clean pass through shot. Killzone was not damaged at all. Blades are thicker than the Rages and the locking system works well. The Rage Chisel point would be the only other exception to the Killzone but the Rages are 50/50 on being damaged after being shot. Try this Broadhead. NAP to the end!!

Although I have not had more than one season's experience with this broadhead, it worked exceptionally well on both deer I shot with it. More importantly the 1 deer I did not hit very well........i recovered due to the massive wound channel that, .. I think I may not have found if I shot with a fixed blade broadhead. As far as the other comment I heard about "the blades & the screw not working after he used it on an animal already".......all mechanical broadheads should be used once, & once only on a game animal. Too much precision on a mechanical broadhead ( no matter what brand ) . We owe it to our game to spend another $10 on a brand new clean broadhead. Thats just one less lunch at Taco Bell im sure we can do without.

Shot a buck at 28yds this year. Huge 2 inch entrance and exit wound. Deer went approx 50yds. I like this design better than 'leading' mechanicals because the design is just more robust

If you want to stay loyal to N.A.P. like i have for years go with the spitfires or spitfire maxx, both do no require o rings like rages, that being said i shot the killzone, killed a doe and 2 raccoons with the same broadhead, washed and cleaned the broadheads and was shocked to see within 5 days time the screw that holds the blades to the pivot point had rusted and were causing the broadhead to malfunction and not open, bought rage 2 blades even though i was hesitant, killed a doe with them and there was absolutely no damage to the broadhead even after a clean pass through and the arrow sticking in the ground, Rage to the Cage from now on or atleast until N.A.P. steps there game up

Great hunting broadhead. Shoots with my field points, and no adjustments needed. It won't deflect on angle shots. There is no clips or bands to worry about. All and all very nice design.
