Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Scope! This is my second Nikon P-223 and I love these scopes... I am 72 years old with tri focals so I need all the help I can get and these scopes are the answer for me. They offer clarity and easy adjustments with the turrets. Setting zero is a cinch. I've used the BDC out to 300 yards and it's right on. For the money, you won't find a better scope. June 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome scope! Perfect for my AR! I was looking for a better than average first scope for my AR. I wanted to try longer range shooting but didn't want to invest 1k plus on glass. This scope fit all my needs. Love the fact that it was developed for a .233/5.56 round. Looks great and well made. Optic is super clear and bright even at 9x magnification. What separates this Nikon from others in its price point is the tactical adjustment turrets. This is a great feature because no tools are required to zero the rifle. These turrets simple lift up and are spring loaded. When you reach zero just drop them down and you are good to go. From there you have the option to either use the BDC reticle make wind and elevation clicks on the fly. His scope stayed zeroed thru 100 rounds and counting. Another cool feature is the software program that Nikon has developed helps you calculate your Bullet Drop marks based on your type of rifle and ammo. All in all, I am super pleased with this scope and don't think I'll even consider something more expensive at all. A helpful tip is for mounting on a flat top AR, definitely get the high or extra high scope rings. This will help get a good cheek weld and give great access to your charging handle. Go Nikon! Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome scope This is a great scope! 2nd owned. First is on an AR15 (223), this one is on an AR10(308). The Nikon BDC software is dead on, works great on 223 and 308 once you get your info input correctly. This scope has great on the fly windage and elevation adjustment and the optics are great for the price May 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Buy It! Purchased this scope after reading various reviews which were mainly excellent. Boy am i happy with the purchase, and by the way the price was great. Josh at Dicks in Easton,Pa set it up for me and did a great job. Scope was placed on a DPMS AR15 and just like that, 100 yards was no problem, less than 1 inch groups, not bad. great job Nikon and thank you Dick for selling a great product. September 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product for my AR Bought this for a flat top chambered inn .223 and performs flawlessly. Easy to sight in with the turrets and holds a great zero. Highly recommended for any style shooter. The bdc reticle is great for anyone wanting to test their marksmanship by being easy to use when shooting at long distances. High quality glass and performs best for me than other in the similar price range. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. January 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product Two days after purchase and mounting, with a bore site, it was within 1/2" of zero, and worked tremendously. November 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bang for your buck Great scope, I would recomend to anyone looking for a reliable accurate scope October 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by nikon scope it seems to be a nice scope, but time will tell! doesn't see very well in low light situations. I wish I could say I had a good experience in the store but it really was a pain in the butt there! September 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nikon P-233 3-9-40 I have not got to site this scope in yet. so far it seems to be a great scope. I waited till it was dark out and looked thought the scope and I still could make out silhouettes. I am a handoader and found the Nikon spot on soft wear to be very easy to use, and love that I can print out exact yds for the bdc and at each power if need be. June 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value I purchased this item to replace an inexpensive red dot sight that was no help in longer distance shooting. The 3 9x40 sight fit the bill. The only down side is close in (less than about 50 yards) focus. This scope is well constructed, easily sighted in, and holds its settings. It also has a protecting soft rubber rim on the eye piece to prevent injury from recoil. At its current street price it's a good buy. May 28, 2013
